"Beauty Within" Floral Birthday Card

Hey All! Kelly Fusco here. For this card I'm using Altenews "Beauty Within" Stamp & Die set . I have the coordinating stencil but I didn't need it or use it for this card.  To start off I stamped my Images onto 80lb Neenah cardstock.  I used Copics to flick color onto them. I used: RV10,RV21,RV23 & RV25 V20,BV20,BV01,BV02 & BV13 BG10,BG23,BG45, & BG13 YG11,YG03,YG25 & YG17 the centers I used YR24 & YR27 Then I die cut everything out.  Once I laid out how I wanted them to appear I used Press n Seal and press it onto my layout, flipped it over and added glue and foam tape.  Now comes the FREESTYLE....I took another 80lb panel of Neenah and I used the CHISEL side of my black Copic and from the outside edge I swiped in like a brushstroke. I repeated that down the left side of my panel.   It doesn't have to be perfect as much of it will be covered plus I love that organic look. Then I took 1 copic from each color ...

Super Easy Coloring

Hey Butterfly Reflections Ink fans! Kelly Fusco here.... thesunshinecrafter I enjoy and appreciate color but I struggle with coloring, like many people.  So for this card Im using the "flick" method.  I used Gina K "Caring Flowers" stamp set & Waffle Flowers Deckled frames dies for this card.  To start I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto 110lb Neenah. I used copics: BG11,BG32,BG34 & BG15 BV01,BV02  RV21,RV23,RV25  & a wee bit of YG13 for the leaves.  Here you can see the flick coloring and for the stamen which got drowned out from the markers I added White Gelly Roll pen. When you color using flicks you leave some white space and you don't have to be perfect or worry about blending. Whoo hoo. Thats for me! After I finished my coloring I used Versafine Onyx (pigment ink) for my sentiment and I added Hero Arts Clear Embossing powder on top, heated n melted it.  I die cut my panel with the...

The Cutest Snowmen Ever!

Art Impressions Chubby Snowmen is one of my favorite snowman stamp sets! Kelly here and I'm excited to show you this card. To start off I took a strip of masking tape and sectioned off the bottom half of my panel which is 110lb Neenah cardstock.  I cut a freestyle mask for the ground as well. I used distress oxide inks in colors Chipped Sapphire & Blueprint sketch for the bottom. I splattered a bit of water for interest. The top half of my panel I masked off in the middle vertically and I used faded jeans on the left and hickory smoke on the right. I added water splatter to these sections as well then I cut a thin piece of Holographic cardstock and glued it down on the trimmed borders.  While that dried I stamped the images onto 110lb Neenah and colored them with copics. I stamped my Sentiment with Versamark and added white super fine Embossing  powder and heated it.  I propped my images up on foam for dimension and adhered them to my...

Chubby Snowmen Slimline Card

Hi guys! Kelly here. Im so excited to show you this slimline card I made using Art Impressions Chubby Snowmen Stamp/die set.  I started off with a 4"x9" 110lb Neenah Cardstock panel. I die cut a small circle mask and freestyle cut a ground mask & started blending Distress inks using finger daubers. I used Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry into Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot around the edges. While I let that dry I stamped my images onto the same cardstock.  I colored them with Copics and die cut them out.  The set comes with 3 Snowmen and a sweet lil bunny. I only used 2 so I added the 3rd on the inside.  I die cut a black mat from PinkFresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die and mounted that onto my white slimline card base. Put it aside & I took my inked panel and added white paint splatter, let dry. I then removed the moon mask and the ground mask and trimmed it down a ...

The Cutest Ornaments Ever!

Howdy all, Kelly here. For this card I used two different companies products. I used Sunny Studios "Deck The Halls" Stamp/die set (which has TEN adorable ornaments included) and I used the Pine Branch from PinkFresh Studio "Holiday Ornaments" set.  To start off I stamped my ornaments onto 110lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black and then colored them in with copics. No fancy coloring.  Then I ink blended the branch onto the same cardstock with Hero Arts Moss Ink. Then I used the coordinating die to die cut it.  I trimmed my card panel down to 4"x 5.25". I splattered some black ink on it & heat set to dry. Then I used some holiday washi along the edges. Once done I stamped my Sentiment with Versafine Onyx and I used Hero Arts Ultra Fine clear Embossing powder on top to emboss it.  I added silver thread through the ornament holes and added foam tape to them as well as the pine branch.  I made sure my silver thread was...

Unbe-LEAF-ably Easy Autumn Cards🍁

Hi Guys, Kelly here, my 2nd blog post and its my birthday! whoo hoo! For todays blog post I'm using Honey Bees Lovely Layers Maple Leaf Die . This die set is AMAZING & makes creating leaves so easy! This die set was a gift to myself, lol :)  To start off I grabbed some Alcohol ink panels that had "Autumn Colors" and I used the shadow die and die cut it. Then I grabbed some white & Gold cardstock and die cut the top layer (2 white & 1 gold). I glued them all together. I added a gold bow on top of the stem base.amd glued it onto my base panel which was added to 110lb Kraft Cardstock. I made a few cards with slight variations (Background, sentiments & embellishments) The one above (sentiment) is Altenew Label Love & the Background is Memory Box Pinpoint leaf die. I didn't add anything extra (embellishments) but I did on the others.  What's great about this die from Honey Bee is you can use anything as your shadow layer. ...

Easy Floral Watercolor Card

Hello my fellow Butterfly Reflections Ink Craftinians! That's a mouthful isn't it,lol. Kelly Fusco here for my very 1st blog post & I couldn't be more excited.  For my card today Im using Concord & 9th Heartfelt Blossoms stamp set. Boy this is a beauty. I'm a floral stamp lover and this baby creates a perfect, easy to color floral frame.   To start off I stamped this large image onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor cardstock with Versafine Onyx & added Hero Arts clear Embossing powder on top (heat of course until melted) Then I chose my favorite Tombow markers (837,026,603,098 & 403 for the soft blue) I didn't go straight to paper. I scribbled my markers onto my glass surface and picked it up with a Ranger waterbrush and simply added the color to my images. Once done I used some prismacolor pencils for a bit of dimension & depth.  Once that was done I added some black splatter (black acrylic paint)  with a bit of water to make it spla...
