Hi Crafty Friends! This week I was inspired by a card by Kelly Latevola where she stamped a flower image and using emboss-resist, coloured with distress ink, then removed some of the ink with a waterbrush and paper towel! She called it "watercolour bleaching". I thought that one of my favorite sets - Altenew Persian Motifs - would be perfect for this and I totally fell in love with this easy but effective technique! To start the card, I stamped the Persian Motif images with versamark ink onto tim Holtz distress Watercolour Cardstock and white embossed. I then used Distress Oxide inks ( blueprint sketch and broken china) to lay some colour onto a rectangle (cut with stitched rectangles die ). I used a paintbrush to paint inside the flower lines and removed water & ink by dabbing with a paper towel as I went.
