Hi everybody! Don't get confused, but here is Vanessa. Not your lovely shop owner, but Vanessa Menhorn from Germany and I am thrilled to be a Butterfly Reflections Ink Guest Designer for December! Today I have two cards for your inspiration, so let's get started.
Here is number one:
I used the sweet WPlus9 set Winter Woodland to create this scene. First, I masked a snow-hill shaped area using a sticky note. Then I inked my "sky" using Antique Linen Distress ink with a mini ink blending tool. While the area was still masked, I stamped the trees using the same ink. Then I removed the sticky note and stamped the cute deer. To enhance the nose and the dots on its back, I used the Reminisce Gel Pen. Now I stamped my sentiment and added some snowy accents with clear glitter Stickles to finish the card off. This card is a one-layer card, so it's perfect for mailing!
For my second card I couldn't help but use my Winnie & Walter goodies:
I covered a cardbase with green cardstock and rounded the bottom corners. Then I trimmed a cream cardstock panel slightly smaller than the base and rounded the bottom corners, too. Now I stamped the tree from Winter Woodland with Versamark ink and embossed it using Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder. I adhered the panel to the card. Then I die-cut the "joy" from vellum and adhered it to the tree, together with the Fancy Pants sequins and a little bow made from twine.
I hope to have inspired you! Because of Vanessa's generous sale from her birthday weekend, a lot of the products I used are no longer available, but she has plenty new, wonderful products available in her lovely shop so be sure to check them out!
I'll be back after Christmas, enjoy your time with your family, I hope to see you then!
GORGEOUS! That deer card is so serene and lovely!
