Hello! It's Vanessa Menhorn again with my second post as Guest Designer for Butterfly Reflections, Ink.! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful time with your loved ones. One favorite holiday is over, so it's time to start making projects for the next one :)
Today, I have a little Valentine's Day set for you:
I started the card with a panel of cardstock that I trimmed slightly smaller than my pink cardbase. I stamped the cookie from Lawn Fawn's milk and cookies set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I stamped the cookie onto a sticky note, cut it out and masked my image on the panel. Now I stamped the milk box and masked it, too. I then layed a striped stencil over my panel and applied Spun Sugar Distress Ink with an ink blending tool. After removing the stencil and the masks, I colored the images with Copics. Then I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to my cardbase. Finally I die-cut hearts using Lawn Fawn's hearts lawn cuts from red cardstock and applied Glossy Accents onto them for more dimension. After they were dried, I adhered the smallest one to the card.
For the little bag, I used Lawn Fawn's goodie bag die. In addition to the prepared red hearts, I die-cut more hearts from cardstock and partially inked them with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Then I adhered my hearts to the assembled bag and filled it with sweet goodies and crepe paper.
I hope to have inspired you! Thank you so much for visiting and thanks again to Vanessa for having me as her guest! I enjoyed it very much! Now it's time to do some after-christmas shopping in her shop!
