Hello Butterfly Inker Fans. Annette Witherspoon here again as your friendly February guest designer. Today, I made a funky, freestyle collage tag.
First, I stamped a kraft tag with the Falling Hearts background stamp by Neat and Tangled using White Unicorn pigment ink from Hero Arts. This has to be my favorite ink. The images always turn out opaque, giving you a nice, crisp look. You can find it in the store in the small cubes.
Now, for the star of the show – the Serendipity 6x6 paper pad by Dear Lizzy. All of the banners are from this super trendy set. I love it. The gold heart Thicker is part of the same collection.
Speaking of trendy, I used the new In Every Way set by Waffleflower Crafts to stamp the sentiments. If you look closely at the word “Perfect” you may notice that I double stamped it. I first stamped it in Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and then stamped over it in black just slightly below and to the right of the first image. It gives it a 3D appearance and really helps the image pop.
After adhering all the banners and sentiments, I got out my sewing machine, stitched them together, and then finished off the tag with some ribbon.
I want to thank you for allowing me to hang out with you this month. I really enjoyed sharing my creativity with you. Feel free to visit me any time at my blog A. Spoon Full of Sugar Crafts.
What a fantastic tag Annette!
