Guest Designer Sunday with Latisha Yoast

Hello and good morning!
Today I'm super happy to share more of Latisha's GORGEOUS work with everyone!  She shared an AWESOME nautical card on the blog earlier this month, and we're just so thankful she was able to share her talent with us this month!  There is just something fun about making a square card.  Today, Latisha is sharing a few square cards with us today.

Be sure to leave her some love and appreciation for sharing her cards with us all month! :)

First up is a card using some new Lawn Fawn stamps that are up for pre-order here.  This stamp set is called Happy Harvest, and included a coordinating die set.

  1. Stamp image onto white cardstock with black ink.
  2. Color in image using Copic markers
  3. Stamp sentiment in Lawn Fawn black licorice ink.
  4. Tie twine around the white panel
  5. Adhere to yellow cardstock
  6. Adhere yellow cardstock to the orange cardbase.

Materials Used:
Lawn Fawn trimmings
Foam adhesive
White cardstock
Yellow cardstock
Orange cardstock
Natural twine

Up next is another square card using more scrapbook materials.

  1. Cut/score cardstock to creat a 4.25 x 4.25 cardbase.
  2. Adhere the Fancy Pants Designs Summer Fun pattern paper to the cardbase.
  3. Diecut pattern paper using a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die.
  4. Stamp WPlus9 images onto the circle.
  5. Die cut dark grey cardstock using the WPlus9 die.
  6. Adhere the “hello” diecut to the circle
  7. Adhere the circle diecut to the card using foam adhesive.
  8. Adhere Fancy Pants Designs sequins to the card.
  9. Tie a bow using Lawn Fawn tangerine twine.

Materials Used:
Fancy Pants Designs sequins
Lawn Fawn tangerine twine
Grey cardstock

Tip if a card seems too flat, try popping up some of the layers or embellishments using foam adhesive.  It’s a cheap and fun way to add dimension to any projects.
