Hello and happy Sunday!!
I'm so excited to introduce our guest designer for the month of October - Carisa from Inky Fairy Designs!!!
She's an absolutely star when it comes to Copic coloring! Her work is just stunning! You can read a little bit about her, and then gaze at her amazing talent with the amazing card she created below! :)

I am blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart, we'll be celebrating our 15th anniversary this year. We have 4 awesome kiddos ages 10, 8, 5 and 2. I'm really just a simple girl who loves my family and I am grateful to be able to do what I love. I began stamping and crafting in 2009 when a friend of mine introduced me to Copic markers. I absolutely LOVE bringing a black and white stamped image to life with color. I am kind of a medium junkie as I love experimenting with watercolors and have to have them all! I've also started dabbling with mixed media which is a really fun way to try out new art supplies and techniques. Art has become such a great creative outlet for me - one I didn't even realize at the time I had been missing having grown up playing the piano, violin and flute. I love sharing my process on YouTube and you'll usually get sneak peeks as I am creating on Instagram - usually late at night because I am definitely a night owl! I'm thrilled to be guest designing for Butterfly Reflections, Ink this month!

For my card today, I pulled out stamps from the company that began it all for me, The Greeting Farm! I have been in love with The Greeting Farm stamps since I first started and they just keep getting cuter and cuter. The new clear stamps featuring critters have stolen my heart. I pulled out two sets, Wood Friends and Cuddly Thanks to create a scene for my card. I started by stamping the squirrel and masking him so I could then stamp the trunk so it looks like he's sitting on top. Then I stamped the deer next to him and used the matching die set to cut the acorn he's holding. Then, I grabbed my markers and started coloring. Coloring backgrounds are still a little tricky for me and I generally shy away from them but you'll never get better if you don't try, try, try again so that's what I'm doing!
To design my cards lately, I am completely addicted to the My Favorite Things die-namics Blueprints dies. I only have a handful but they mix and match beautifully to create many different combinations. Right now, my favorites seem to be Blueprints 20, 24 & 15 so those are what I used on my card today.
Thanks for stopping by today and to Vanessa for inviting me to join the team this month. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will see you again in a couple weeks!
Hugs,
Such a super sweet card! Congrats, Carisa, on your guest designer gig!!! Love your amazing work, girl!!!!
