Hi everyone! Carisa here again for my last post as Butterfly Reflections, Ink. October Guest Designer! I guess you can say I am in full fledge holiday mode. Bring on the snow, I AM READY! Yes, I am already listening to Christmas music any excuse and making Christmas cards is the perfect excuse in my book. Today, I am using the Holiday Cheer stamp set from WPlus9's latest release. As soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it. I have become slightly addicted to open line art images paired with solid stamped images and this set has both it was definitely coming home to me! I loved it so much as soon as I started stamping that I have not one, not two, but THREE cards for you today. Plus, a process video I hope you will enjoy seeing how fast and simple these cards are to make. I will be making a few more using this technique with a lot of different colors to have on hand to mail out this season.
Here is another card using the same concept except rather than having the solid stamp have all the colorful fun, I stamped the solid images in a light grey ink and added the color to the open line art stamps. I love the two different styles of hats and mittens in this stamp set as well. You could even take those open images and color them with your markers or watercolors. So many possibilities with this stamp set. It is so versatile, I know I will be making a few other style cards before I put this stamp set away!
I love the colors on this one! They are just so bright, cheerful and not your typical holiday colors which makes it a lot of fun. I wish you could see the wink of stella on this one, too. I have a video for you today. I hope you will hop on over to my YouTube channel or you can watch below:
