Hello, it's Rubeena with a guest post for you today!
This was a little fun to make and inspired by a challenge photo. I started with some watercolor paper that I prepped with some powder. I stamped My Favorite Thing's Lace Background Stamp with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Once that was heat set, I used Altenew's Thanks die to cut the word out. I cut out the words a few times using white cardstock and once with gold cardstock so I could layer the words for depth.
I colored in pink using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pen in Sugared Almond Pink and added some water to spread the color. I colored in random areas with Distress Inks in Walnut Stain and Black Soot. Once all that was dry, I layered the piece over pink and black cardstock and then I matted down all the 'thanks' that were cut out.
I stamped and colored some of the flowers from Altenew's Wild Hibiscus using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. They were added with foam tape to add some dimension. I finished it off with a gold trim on the side.
Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration. Thanks for visiting!
