Hello, hello! It's Kimberly here today, with my very first post for Butterfly Reflections, Ink.! I'm so excited to start sharing projects with all of you! I had to use a butterfly for this first post.... ;)
SUPPLIES:
Prismacolor Pencils
Copic markers - W3 & W5
Kraft Cardstock
White Cardstock
I stamped the adorable images from the Backyard Bugs stamp set onto kraft paper with Versamark and heat embossed them with white EP. I gave each image a light coat with my white Prismacolor pencil and then added color on top of that and blended it out with the white. It creates such a striking look! For even more impact I outlined each image with a warm grey Copic marker. I die cut my cardstock with one of the rectangles from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles set and used foam adhesive to mount it to a piece of white cardstock. I added a kraft panel to the white card base and embellished it with a strip of plaid paper (I added a stitched detail using the stitched rectangles dies) and a few of the Doodlebug sprinkles to finish off this card!
I absolutely LOVE using colored pencils on kraft cardstock. It's such a fun look! I hope you've enjoyed today's card, and I will see you again soon!
Absolutely SWEET!
