Hi friends, Kimberly here with a bright and cheerful thank you card using a super versatile stamp set from WPlus9. This is a stamp set you can have tons of fun playing around with ink colors, seeing what fun combinations you can create. I settled on red and yellow for this card!
SUPPLIES
Vellum
Cardstock
I began by stamping a 4 x 5.25" piece of cardstock with one of the blooms from the Summer Blooms Stamp set. I added stems and leaves and then added some Nuvo drops to accent the flowers, and set this piece aside to dry. The Nuvo drops are fun and easy to use....you are able to squeeze out any amount you want - even the tiniest of drops - this way I always have the right size "enamel dot"!
The frame was die cut five times from red cardstock and stacked together to create some dimension. I stamped the sentiment, also from the Summer Blooms stamp set, with Versamark ink onto vellum and heat embossed it with gold EP. I added the vellum to the focal panel and adhered the frame piece over top. I mounted the panel onto a white 4.25 x 5.5" card base.
I love how bright, bold and cheerful this card turned out. Have fun experimenting with ink colors and create your own garden of blooms!
See you again next week! :)
