Hello, all! It's Lynnea and I have another Christmas card for you! First, let me wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! Whether you are celebrating with friends and family, donating your time at a soup kitchen, getting ready for some amazing sales, or one of the poor souls that have to work ( I feel for you! I was a manager at Target for a while! ) .... I wish you the happiest of days!
I have two cards to share today! But before I share them, be sure to head over to the Butterfly Reflections, Ink shop for 25% your order (some exclusions apply) ! The sale is all ready going on and will go through Monday! Happy shopping!
I can't keep my hands off of the new Bells and Bows stamp set from Altenew! I love how realistic the images are! I feel like I can pick the bows right up off of the paper! I started by stamping both sizes of the bows all over the card bases. I used 3 colors of green and 3 colors of red...although my lightest color for the red bow is actually a very pale pink. There is an outline image that could be stamped to give an outline to the bows, but I chose to leave it out. My bows are not perfectly aligned, but I don't think it matters. They look okay to me!
After I stamped the bows I pulled out an older set from Winnie & Walter called The Big, the Bold, and the Merry. I wanted a bold, black sentiment, so I used Versafine Onyx Black ink and covered it with some Hero Arts Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder. I flicked on some gold paint (because I just need gold on all of my Christmas cards!) and the cards are done! Really those amazing bows and the big sentiment do all the work for me!
I wasn't going to share both of these cards because I only actually like one of them! But my husband liked the other one better, so I thought I'd share both! Which one do you think is my favorite? Which one is your favorite?
I hope you have a great holiday and don't forget to pick up some early Christmas gifts for yourself over in the shop! I just received an order jam packed with goodies that I can't wait to play with! I'll be sharing some more projects soon! Bye for now!
