Hello, Nicky back with you today with this card using the Big Top Birthday stamp and die set by Neat & Tangled.
The panel of my card was cut using the largest die from Blueprints #25 by My Favorite Things. I created a focal point by ink blending with Distress Ink in a light pink. I die cut another panel with the same die and then used the medium sized wave die from Ocean Wave Borders by Lawn Fawn to cut 4 lengths of curtains.
I ink blended 3 of these curtain pieces in a minty green and one in a pale blue and then applied them to the scene with dimensional foam tape.
I then stamped the characters and other components with Ranger Archival Ink and watercolour painted them using Clean Color Real Brush Markers by Zig. They were die cut and applied to the scene with yet more dimensional foam tape. The final touch was a little Wink of Stella here and there for a subtle shimmer and then I set about highlighting certain points with my Uni-Ball Signo white pen, including some tiny flecks in the pink background just to break it up a little.
Such a fun stamp set, I'm so in love with it and its possibilities. Thank you for stopping by the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog today, I hope you enjoyed my card, I will be back again next Tuesday and in the meantime you can follow me on Instagram #nickynoocards, Pinterest and Facebook for this and many more of my card designs. Have a wonderful week!
