Hi there, crafty friends! It's Rebekah here today!
It has been a consistent thing for me the past few weeks to have a cart packed full of all the new goodies that have been coming into the store. I place my order one day and then the next day I spot something else I have 'have to' have! It's a perpetual cycle. You can find all the new products by clicking HERE!
When I happened across this Elizabeth Crafts Woodland Pals stamp set and dies, it immediately went into my cart! I love the design of these characters. They seem almost a little like folk-art to me!
I started by coloring the images with markers and arranging them into a scene. The trees in this set have only a few leaves on them and I wanted them to be full so I used the My Favorite Things Trees in the Forest dies to create a fuller tree top. I also used the MFT Grassy Fields die for the forest floor. Both the trees and the grass are inked with Distress Ink in Iced Spruce. I used the Clarity Stencil Brushes to get a nice, soft wash of color.
For the background, I used the Echo Park Quilted Stitch Stencil inked with Distress Ink in Fossilized Amber to create what could either be a sun or a moon!
I assembled my scene, popping up one of the trees and the fox with Foam Mounting Tape for a little dimension. I added a sentiment from MFT's Essential Sentiments with Versafine Black ink and my car was done!
Don't miss out on the new products! Be sure to keep checking back to the store! Vanessa is getting so much stuff in and is also restocking often!
Check out My Blog and Instagram for many more projects using products from the store!
Hugs!
