Happy Hedgehogs!

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you again with a new card to share using Happy Hedgehogs by MFT and the Polka Stencil by Neat and Tangled.

My card base is constructed of Kraft card stock and a panel of white card stock was stencilled using the Polka Stencil by Neat and Tangled.  I moved the stencil around and using my favorite Clarity Stencil Brushes and Distress Ink I created a layered affect but kept it very delicate.  I then die cut the two edges using a Memory Box border die that I don't see in the shop right now but you could use all number of edging dies found here.   I liked this one because it was a little 'spiky'!

I wrapped twine around the card panel several times and then adhered the panel to the base making a sandwich with craft foam for a substantial feel.  I then stamped all my Happy Hedgehog components with Archival Ink and watercolour painted everything using a variety of the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

These pieces were adhered to the card panel forming the scene using dimensional foam tape.   The sentiment was stamped onto a Kraft card stock tag and applied.  I finished off with a smattering of toning sequins and I used a Uni-Ball Signo White Pen to highlight several areas on the hedgehogs and mushrooms.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and perhaps it has inspired you to create this week.  I will be back with another card next Tuesday, meanwhile you can follow me on Instagram #nickynoocards, Pinterest and Facebook for more of my projects.

Have a wonderful week,
Nicky
