Hoppy Birthday, Ribbit!

Hey friends, happy Friday! It's Christy here with a fun pond scene featuring Memory Box Hoppy Holidays. This set is super versatile because it does double duty as both a Christmas set, and everyday. Today I paired it with the bright and cheery Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 papers to create a birthday card.

I colored my images with Copic markers then die cut them with the matching dies. Then I layered a strip of grass cut with Lawn Fawn's Meadow Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders. I added it with foam tape over a panel cut with the Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables to create the sky at the top and the pond at the bottom.

For my card base, I trimmed my patterned paper down to 4'' x 5 1/2'' to leave a blue border all the way around, then added a banner down the center with the end trimmed down using the Stitched Party Banners. Then I popped my focal panel over top with some more foam tape and finished things off with a few Pretty Pink Posh 4mm and 6mm Clear Droplets. A little Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen was the finishing touch. It's hard to make out on camera but it's so pretty in person!

I also did some fun stamping on the inside with Lawn Fawn Peacock Ink, but I'll save that for the video. ;) I hope you enjoy it! Click on the YouTube icon to watch there in HD, and if you're not already a subscriber, I'd love for you to become one. Have an amazing weekend, everybody!

  1. I have this stamp and die set and think it is so fun! The singing frog with the microphone just stole my heart! I loved seeing someone else create a card with it. Great job on your frogs and your card!
