WOOOO HOOOO! School's out for SUMMMMMERRR! My kids had their last day Tuesday and I'm sitting out on the deck watching them swim in the pool as I type this. That was one of the BEST summer fun decisions we made a couple of years ago! It's nice to enjoy the comfort of home, but have a way for them to cool off. Bonus for not having to go anywhere so I can drink on the deck sometimes. ;) Speaking of the deck, it's currently covered in floats and beach towels! LOL It's definitely challenging owning a business and trying to get work done while the kids are home. We have a few short vacations planned and then they are signed up for 3 weeks of summer day camp. I hope you all have some fun summer plans. I'd love to hear them!
I'm joining the blog today to hop along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Too hot for coffee? Grab yourself an iced (my preference) and hop along!
There are lots of sponsors on this hop and you can win some fun prizes. Be sure to link up a summer themed coffee related project for a chance to win! There are also prizes on some participant's blogs along the way so be sure to comment for your chances to win there as well. The more you participate, the better your chances!!!
Let's be honest. I never have time... or energy... or creativity to play. I haven't made a card in MONTHS. I figured this was an excuse to get in my craft room and use one of my many, MANY neglected stamps. bwhahahahahaha Now which ones to choose. Did I mention I have MANY?!
So after much debate, I decided to swipe a few things from the shop. HAHA I couldn't believe nobody had picked up the cute Avery Elle set Cool Treats so now I'm the proud owner of one of them. Awww, shame. LOL I used some Pebbles paper and adorable puffy stickers from the Sunshiny Days line. The sun clip is from Doodlebug. Gosh, their last few lines have been CUTE! We are lucky enough to live a short 20 minutes from the beach so we get to spend a lot of time there. Sometimes I go with my mom, sometimes I "day date" with my hubby and of course the kids enjoy going to play in the sand. Actually, we were there Wednesday night for the fireworks. This didn't come out exactly as I hoped as I didn't have the size coffee cup I had in mind. I wanted to have a larger cup lying on a beach towel with a big pair of shades on. I had wanted to stamp "Current status: ROASTING!" or "Medium Roast", but then I found this coffee date stamp in my stash and went with that. Maybe I'll just have to make another card sometime. hahahahaha
In celebration of the hop, I am offering 10% off your purchase using the code ICEDCOFFEE10 from Friday, 6/23 - Sunday, 6/25. PLEASE NOTE: I will be leaving for our first summer vacation very early Monday morning (we're DRIVING from NH to VA) so depending on when the orders are placed, I may not be able to ship until after we return on Friday, 6/30. Since there's another weekend after that and the PO is closed, they may ship as late as July 3rd. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I appreciate your patience and understanding.
