Happy
Saturday everyone! It’s Jacquie,
back again to share a pretty fall floral card. Sunflowers are some of my
favorite flowers. I love a bouquet of them in my house, it just feels so
welcoming.
My card today is deceptively simple and easy to make. I stamped this pretty Sunflower image from StrawberryJude Stamps on a 4 x 5 ¼ piece of white cardstock, using the new Copic friendly ink from Altenew. This ink is my new favorite ink for alcohol based markers. It stamps perfect, dark and crisp every time! I colored the Sunflower with my Copic markers. I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges dies from My Favorite things to create a pretty edge at the top of my card.
I took an A2 sized piece of Kraft cardstock and put it in my MISTI tool. I stamped the Sunflower image on the edge of my Kraft Cardstock, and then inserted the colored card panel in the MISTI and stamped it a second time so that it would line up from the kraft cardstock on to the white panel. I stamped around a few sides this way. I used Altenew Limestone crisp ink, because it is a great neutral to go with this card. Once I carefully lined up my top stamped layer with my base stamped layer, I glued them together.
I cut a banner using the Lawn Fawn banner die out of white cardstock, and then I colored it with a Copic marker. Once the ink was good and dry, I stamped the “Sending you Sunshine” greeting on the banner and then adhered it to the card.
I finished off my card using a few of these droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.
That’s it for
today! Be sure to click on the links to find all the products I used.
Have a great
weekend!
Peace,

Jacquie
