Hello! It's Lynnea and I'm so excited to be playing with some new Lawn Fawn stamps!! Their fall / winter release is just fantastic! It's always my favorite release of the year! I made my first Halloween card of the year to share with you!
Ahhh! I'm in love! These costumed kiddos are so adorable! I stamped a bunch of images from Lawn Fawn's new Costume Party stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. And as always, this stamp set has coordinating dies!
I covered all of the images with a thick coat of Spectrum Noir clear sparkle overlay. I love the shimmer!
The card front is 4 1/2" square. I cut a piece of heavy white cardstock and used an ink blender to blend on some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. I spattered on some water and dried it with my heat tool and added some more clear shimmer pen to the areas that would be showing. Then I cut out four 2" stitched squares using Lawn Fawn's Small Stitched Square Stackables. I blended on four different colors of Distress Oxide inks - Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Seedless Preserves, and Twisted Citron. I added some more splashes of water to these pieces as well and dried them with my heat gun.
I put together a sentiment and stamped it with Versamark ink and embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. I added all of the images to the little squares with either tape adhesive or foam squares. I wanted the squares to have dimension as well, so I used some fun foam behind them.
That's it! I'm just in love with this Lawn Fawn release! Take a look in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store to see the whole release!
