Hi, BRI friends! It's Dana from Dana G.Crafts and I'm so glad to meet you here as a design team member. Thank you so much for having me, Vanessa!
My first DT creation I'd like to share today is shaker card. Putting multi shakers in one card is one of my crafty major and here is what I came up with :)
To begin, I stamped coffee cup from Avery Elle Cool Beans stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black onto bristol paper and stamped one more onto Inkadikado Stamping Masking Paper. I fussy cut masked image using scissors and adhered it on the stamped image.
I then masked background panel using wide post-it and ink blended with Lawn Fawn dye ink. I used Minty Fresh (top left), Peach Keen(top right), Guava(bottom left) and Sugarplum(bottom right). I repeated this process 4 times.
Next, I die cut cups using coordinating die set, Avery Elle Cool Beans Elle-ments for shaker window. I colored cup images with copic markers. I then traced window part using pencil on another A2 sized birstol paper. With this guidline, I watercolored 4 backgrounds using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and water brush.
Now, it's time to build shakers. I glued acetate behind stamped panel and mounted foam adhesive. I placed clear sequins on each parts of watercolor panel and combined two panels. Oh....yes perfect! Whenever I successfully combined different panels without any mistakes with perfect degree, I feel very fresh! hehe.
For sentiment, I die cut two hearts from yellow paper and vellum using Altenew Halftone Hearts Nesting Dies and Altenew Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine. If you want see more about this die cutting machine, please stop by HERE (my stop of Altenew January Release Blog Hop). I glued them each other and stamped sentiment from AE Cool Beans stamp set using LF Lobster dye ink.
I stamped small hearts from same stamp set and die cut them, too. For adding texture, I applied Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss Red Berry to both. After dried completely, I popped up all elements using foam adhesive. To finish off, I embellished Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix on the shaker window.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Love,
Dana
