Warm Winter Wishes

Karen B. here from The Bald Dragonfly, and it is an absolute pleasure to be guesting for Butterfly Reflections Ink! I've got a clean and simple card for you today-they are my favorite to make-that features one simply adorable dancing penguin.

I am always in need of cards for after Christmas, when it is too late to send out a holiday card. I like to make winter based cards, and this set available in the shop, called Color Layering Baby Penguin from Hero Arts, fills the bill.

I started by masking the penguin image and inking up the front of a card base with blue distress oxide inks, splattering silver watercolor paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. I then stamped the cute little penguin using the Rock Collection of Altenew Inks. I finished the card by stamping some snowflakes and the sentiment onto some paper cut snow hills.
