Hi, BRI friends!
It's Dana here coming back with another Wednesday inspiration. For today, I made a card using five Altenew products with 5 techniques. Isn't it so fun? :) Here is what I came up with.
Dry embossing and Die cutting
To start, I dry embossed A2 sized white card stock with Altenew Cube Cover Die. For dry embossing, I sandwiched embossing pad, paper, cover die from bottom to top between acrylic pads and ran it through die cutting machine.
I then die cut circle frame using Altenew Create-A-Wreath Dies two times from dry embossed panel and white woodgrain paper. I taped woodgrain frame as shown.
Stamping
Next, I stamped each layers of yellow bird from Altenew Birds of a Feather Stamp Set using dye inks and die cut it with coordinating die. I stamped bird's eye with grey dye ink and drew more details using Copic multiliner, Uni white gel pen and Nuvo Crystal drops Morning Dew.
Heat embossing and Watercoloring
I heat embossed flowers and leaves from Altenew Happy Bloom stamp set using Altenew Rose Gold Crisp embossing powder and die cut them using coordinating die set.
I watercolored them with Mijello Mission Gold watercolor paints. I then started to watercoloring for background. At this time, I used Gansai Tambi Watercolor paints. With sufficient water, I applied pigments onto watercolor paper using wet on wet technique. Before dried it completely, I added waterbrush stroke with only clean water slightly and created wave-look scene. Once dried, I gold heat embossed sentiment from Altenew Birds of a Feather Stamp Set using Altenew Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.
I glued watercolor panel onto white card base and foam mounted the dry embossed panel on it. I then foam mounted again all elements as shown in the picture. I finished off this card by embellishing droplets.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Love,
Dana
