Hello everyone!
Alexandra here today sharing a floral card , yes you read it right floral :)) after all those cute critters card I thought it was time to chance things a bit! :)
When comes to floral cards I got to be honest and say I kinda struggle! I find flowers pretty hard to color using my alcohol markers and watercoloring is still not something that I am good at , but well I challenge myself to pick this gorgeous stamp set from Magnolia Stamp from Avery Elle and stamp it onto Canson Mix Media paper using Distress Ink Antique linen.
Next I took my Winsor&Newton watercolors and started coloring the flower adding first light color and then adding more layers of color and always letting the layers dry in between . Once the flower was done I added a bit of color to the background and also added some splatters of color.
Lastly I added the sentiment using Versa Mark ink and gold embossing powder.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great day!
