Well Hello! Today I am sharing a super quick and easy card with you. I am a big believer in simple and quick sometimes. I find myself more often going the long way around a card rather than keeping it easy. One good way is to use a sketch! Did you know that many manufacturers will post challenges to inspire their customers. My Favorite Things is no different. I used one of their past sketches to make this card.
So let's get to how I made it.
I created a card base and cut a small piece of cardstock from Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad and adhered it to the card. I stamped the images from the My Favorite Things Tweet Holiday set with Gina K Amalgam ink. I then colored them with copic markers and using the coordinating Tweet Holiday Dies, cut the images out. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on a strip of white cardstock and adhered it to the card. I then adhered the cute birdies and holly to the card using thin foam adhesive. Using my Lawn Fawn Glue Tube I adhered mini pompoms to the top of the hats of the cute birds. To add details to the card I added dots to the scarf with my Signo uniball white gel pen. I finished it off by adding Kaisercraft red pearls to the holly.
Here is a closer look of those great pompoms!! So much fun. It just adds a fun touch don't ya think?!
I hope you enjoy your day and I'll see you next week!
