Hi there! It's Andrea filling in today, and I'm delighted to be back with you all. Do you ever buy products when they come out because you just have to them and then never get around to using them? Well, that's the case for the card I'm sharing today: I have had these stamps and dies for ages and only just got around to playing with them (head hangs in shame).
These stamps dies might be "old" in the papercrafting world (Age is relative, right?), but they are still so cute! I stamped those adorable images from the Hello Bluebird Jungle Littles stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Bristol Smooth paper. After watercoloring them with my Zigs, I cut them out and added some highlights with a white gel pen.
Using Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Die, I die-cut two card panels and the two hills from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. I scored the lines with a bone folder and placed ScorTape on the tabs. I adhered the panels together on one side but waited to complete assembly until after the other elements were in place.
To create my background, I inked up a square of Bristol paper (same dimensions as the back panel of the box) with Salty Ocean distress ink. For the grass strips, I ink-blended with Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, and Pine Needles (The darker colors were only used on the grass in the background) and die-cut them with Lawn Fawn's Grassy Border Die. Using my paper trimmer, I shortened the hills die-cut with the Shadow Box Card Die, cut the grass strips to the length of the hill pieces, and adhered the strips on top. I attached the darkest grass strip to the background and the lightest strip inside the opening of the box. After gluing the background to the back panel, I finished assembling the box.
Using liquid adhesive, I attached my colored images inside the box, trimming off any overhang. I die-cut the banner from white cardstock with MFT's Stitched Sentiment Strips Dies. I stamped a sentiment from Jungle Littles with Versafine Onyx Black ink, clear heat-embossed it, and adhered the banner to the front of the box.
That's all from me today. Have a great weekend!

Cute! I was making a few shadow boxes myself yesterday!
