Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hi Crafty Friends, Alix here backing to the BRI Blog  showing a cute card I made using today's Pretty Pink Posh new release products. To begin with my card, I stamped the images from  Elephant Friends Stamp set  using  Memento Tuxedo Black ink   onto  piece of Neenah solar white 80 lbs card stock paper, and die cut with  Elephant Friends Coordinating Dies . I also stamped some accessory images from  Congrats Grad Stamp set  and die cut with  Coordinating Dies . Once I gathered all elements I need for this card, I colored them using my copic markers and set aside for later use. To prepare my background, I grabbed a piece of A2 sized watercolor paper and cut the center window piece with  Decorative Dies 2 . I layered  Pretty Pink Posh Graduation Stencil  over the outer frame and blended Tim holtz Distress oxide ink in  Tumbled Glass   and   Salty Ocean  to create my bac...

Hey!!! It's Laurie and I'm thrilled to be a guest on the BRI Blog today!!  I've created a card today featuring products from The Stamp Market.  This happens to be my favourite company at the moment.  I cannot get enough of Amy's designs!! I used the Rainbow Card Cover Die and of course, rainbow shades of Distress Inks. My favourite colours come from the one and only Laura Bassen and are: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. Before adhering the inked rainbow, I used Broken China Distress Ink and the Cloud Stencil from MFT directly on the card base. For the sentiment, I chose the Hey Die .  I love the font of this die and the fact that it comes with an outline die as well!! I was unsure about what colour the "hey" should be so decided to stick with a neutral light grey and white. I did add a good helping of Clear Sparkle Pen !! Happy Saturday crafty friends!  It's Jacquie today with a pair of cards using a drop dead gorgeous stamp set from Altenew .  The stamp set is from the Build A Flower series ...and I think it is my new favorite!  It's the Hyacinth .  Super easy to line up and die cut. For both cards, I stamped a simple background from The Stamp Market called Criss Cross background.  (This is one of those sets that you need in your stash...it's like ketchup..you can put it on everything. :)) I stamped one card panel in the newest beautiful pink from Altenew -Baby Pink , and the other one is stamped in Morning Frost . Then I took the dies, and cut them out of white cardstock.  I lined the stamps up in my Misti stamping tool and stamped all the layers.  Easy, and SO pretty! Thats it for today! Happy Friday Friends!! It is  Dana  here today with a card using the Gorgeous  Sunny Studio: Everything's Rosy stamp set . I started my card by stamping my flowers with the  Altenew Cherry Blossom Mini Cube Set . Next, I used the  Altenew Green Meadows Mini Cube Set  for my leaves. I love the Altenew mini ink cubes for layered stamping...they blend perfectly! I also used my  Original MISTI Tool  to help line up all the different layers. Once everything was stamped, I used the  Sunny Studio: Everything's Rosy Dies  to die cut my flowers and leaves.  For my card panel, I die cut the  Reverse Confetti: Vertical Stripes Cover Panel  from white cardstock. I then mounted this onto my A2 card base. Next, I stamped my sentiment onto a cardstock strip and attached this to my card panel. Hey, there BRI fans!  Kathy here to share a fun card that is perfect for Father's Day or any masculine card.  If you're like me, guy cards are always such a challenge, but using Sunny Studio Designs Sweater Vest Dies makes it easy and fun! For my first Sweater Vest card, I used Lawn Fawn cardstock in White , Chocolate Bar and Kraft .  The vest front was embossed with Sunny Studio Dapper Diamonds embossing folder to add texture.  The tie was cut from Sunny Studio Gingham Jewel Tones pattern paper. For my next Sweater Vest card, I used Lawn Fawn cardstock in White and Noble Fir . Hello my crafty friends!! Hope everyone had a nice Easter and Passover! The easter bunny was very good to us down here in sunny Florida! Danielle here up on the fabulous BRI blog today with fun card for a dear friend featuring the new Mama Elephant Big News Stamp and Die set . I started off ink blending a panel using Distress Ink Oxides in worn lipstick and seedless preserves .  I then used the Mama Elephant Grid Windows die with a piece of Lawn Fawn Sparkle Pixie Dust cardstock.  This is by far my favorite white sparkle cardstock!! It's hard to see in the picture but I can guarantee it's absolutely the sparkliest in person!  I adhered my die cut on top of my ink blended panel using Tombow Mono Glue . I love this glue applicator because it gives you a steady straight thin line so you have more control in tight spaces.   I stamped all my images from the new Mama Elephant Big News stamp set  using black licorice ink .  This set is supe...

Hello, BRI fans!  Toni here today celebrating spring and all growing things. I am so glad spring is finally here and I can start to enjoy outdoor time again! For this card, I started by diecutting the Lawn Fawn Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop out of a luscious chartreuse green color. I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte to adhere it to the card base.                        I next stamped the Pinkfresh Studio Heart and Soul image onto watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black . I colored this up using Zig markers. A really quick color too! Finally I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and embossed it in white. It's mounted on Scotch Foam Tape . Hello everyone!  Ashley Harris here and I'm so happy to be back with you all for a short bit.  I am sharing a fun new card with you today.  I was happily surprised to find my day to share was Easter.  So I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday and time spent with Family and Friends.  Here are the details on how I made this card. First I stamped all images from the Spring Gatherings Stamp Set from Hello Bluebird using Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento .  I colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out using the coordinating Spring Gatherings Dies from Hello Bluebird.  Using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die , I cut the background using patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Knit Picky Fall 6x6 paper pad.  I built the scene and adhered all images using foam adhesive.  I then stamped the sentiment to finish off the card. Hey Crafters! It's Kelly Martin here, and it's always a privilege to be a guest over on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog! Today I have some simple cards for you that incorporate smaller standalone images and patterned paper--two of my favorite things! I'm using the images from the Punny Pantry stamp and die set (which is on sale right now!), and some patterned paper from My Favorite Things. Stamp, color, and die cut your images and then set them aside. I chose to color my images with copic markers, but any coloring medium would work! Choose some papers that coordinate with the color choices on your images, and then go to town on coming up with your layout! I have two go-to layouts when using patterned paper, one for horizontal oriented cards, and one for portrait-oriented cards. Happy Friday Friends!! It is  Dana  here today sharing a card perfect for Easter, or anytime. I am using the  Gina K Wreath Builder Stamp & Stencil  for my project. Are you familiar with these products? They are so clever and easy to use! I started by placing my  Gina K Wreath Builder Template Stencil  in my  Original MISTI . Next, I placed a 4x4 inch piece of white cardstock in the stencil. I used the  Gina K Original Wreath Builder Stamp Set  for all of my floral images. I just kept adding more and more images to build my desired wreath. The stencil keeps everything lined up perfectly, so easy! Here is what my wreath looked like as I was building it: To make my A2 card, I cut my 4x4 wreath in half. I attached my wreath to the top and bottom of my card mat.
