Hello, everyone! It's Cassie here, and I'm back to share a card I made using some of my favorite products. Stencils have been my go to lately for fun and colorful backgrounds. I thought they'd be fun for today's birthday card too! Let's jump right in.
I started with the My Favorite Things stencil called Lots of Heart. Using my Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides, I ink blended over the stencil to get a nice gradient of color. When I was done I used some of the ink to splatter over the top of the card as well. It reminded me of water splashing :)
I had already colored in these cute images from the Sea-prise! stamp set, which can make cards go a lot faster if you're in a pinch. I love coloring while I'm watching tv, and then I've got a stock of colored images to use of my cards. It's a win-win! I adhered them down with foam tape once the card panel was dry. Next I stamped out the 'happy' from Lawn Fawn's Happy Happy Happy stamp set. I die cut it out with the coordinating dies and adhered that with foam tape as well.
I also used the birthday stamp from the same Lawn Fawn set to heat emboss the rest of my sentiment on the card. To add some finishing touches, I did some Nuvo Crystal drops in the glossy white color for bubbles. And that's my card!
I hope you enjoyed the project I made for today. Who else is crafting away on this Saturday?? I hope you all have a great weekend, and I'll see you again soon with another card!
