Good Morning, everyone! WHEW! These months are whizzing by. I have to admit that I was a bad sharer this past term and I feel terribly about that. My girls were incredible and I can't even say what my problem was, but hope I can turn it around. My kids started school this past Monday and have been off for this long weekend. My husband had the weekend off as well so I took today off. Feels kind of nice to have 2 days off in a row. He wants to go car shopping (yuck!), but I'm content to just sit here in my pjs all day. 😁 I currently drive a 14 year old mini van which I've had for almost 10 years so it is time, but I still don't wanna! haha Any vehicle suggestions? I can't afford the Porsche I really want. Plus, it's not really realistic with kids. bwhahahahahaha
So I'm here to introduce you to our new Design Team member so as my boys like to say (or yell...) "LET'SSS GOOOOOOO!!!" I have THREE girls joining us that have never been on any Design Teams before so I'm SUPER excited about that. Let's give them an extra warm welcome and be sure to follow them individually on IG!
First up we have Tiffany Beuning. Tiffany is from Las Vegas, is a high school counselor and is married to a great guy who supports her craft habit. What more can you ask for there? haha
Next up we have Jane! Jane is a working professional by day and a crafter by night. hehe She lives in Southern California with her husband, 19 month old daughter and her 2 year old Westie (aka her first child). I have been following her on IG for a little bit and just love her creations!
Candice Fisher is next up! She is an active mother of three (21, 18 and 16) and two of them are now in college. She is lucky to have an understanding hubby who supports her love of all things crafty, especially cardmaking. She's also been scrapping for 16 years and used to work for Archiver's as a class instructor. She should come up and teach at my store! ;) Candice is currently on the Create a Smile and Whimsy Stamps Design Teams, two brands that I carry in the shop!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply. I try very hard to get back to everyone and I sent an acknowledgment e-mail to everyone, but I didn't get a chance to send the *other* e-mail. Those are the worst and I hate to do it. I truly admire your willingness to put yourself out there and appreciate you wanting to be a part of my team.
There is a Labor Day Sale going on through the end of the day though since I forgot to POST about it yesterday (DOH!), I might extend it through tomorrow. You can use the code LBDAY20 for 20% off your purchase. Some exclusions apply. The struggle is REAL with sales, people. HA! I don't mind the sale aspect. It's the extra WORK that comes with it. It is a LOT to do being one person and I hate the feeling of being behind. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the extra orders, I do. But I also enjoy being able to breathe. Speaking of which, I am still looking for part-time help at the shop!!!
Thanks so much for sticking with me. HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!! xoxo

Next up, we have Amanda Willett. Amanda is from Kentucky and just 25 years old which makes me feel OLD (my oldest son is 23), but also makes me HAPPY that there are a younger group of stampers in the mix. Her grandmother used to work for American Greetings (side note that I used to work for Hallmark stocking cards at Walmart and such) and after some time of giving/receiving the same cards, she got into cardmaking. I just LOVE that! Check out this fun Halloween scene.
Lastly we have Crystal Komara joining us. Crystal just lives a state away from me in Massachusetts with her husband and 3 rescue cats. When she's not working or making cards, she loves to cook and bake. She also teaches classes in her home studio! She should totally come teach at the shop, too! :)
