Hi everyone! I'm back on the blog today with a fun holiday card featuring some old and new sets from Avery Elle. I love to mix and match stamp and die sets from my collection to create new scenes!
To start, I ink blended the background using distress oxide colors picked raspberry and mermaid lagoon. Then the background was splatted with water and white gouache paint. I mixed glitz glitter gel with gloss super heavy gel medium and used a spatula to spread across the bottom of the card. You could use any type of glitter paper for this purpose, but I like the translucent look of the heavy gel. The panel was then left to dry overnight.
On a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolor paper, I stamped images from snow much fun and polar peek-a-boo pals using versafine clair ink. Images were then colored using zig clean color brush pens and a water brush. Images were cut using the coordinating dies. Then, using postage stamp die and snow caps die I cut the background and border from white cardstock. Glitter cardstock used to cut the snow caps. Background images were adhered using liquid glue and the moose were adhered using foam squares.

Glossy accents added to the lightbulbs to add some dimension. The snowflakes are from Little Things From Lucy's Cards called "snowdrift." I adhered these with multi medium matte. The sentiment was stamped using versafine ink from snow much fun stamp set. The entire card front was then adhered to an A2 card base.
Hope you enjoyed this card. Looking forward to sharing again next week! Until then, have a lovely rest of your week!
