All the cute products I used for my card I got from Butterfly Reflections, Ink store:
- Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Balloon stamps & coordinating dies
Avery Elle Polar Peek-a-boo Pals stamps & coordinating dies- Hello Bluebird Christmas Is Coming stamps & coordinating dies
- Hello Bluebird O Christmas Tree stamps & coordinating dies
- Sunny Studio Scenic Route stamps & coordinating dies
- Sunny Studio Fluffy Clouds dies
- oxide inks: squeezed lemonade, spun sugar & milled lavender
- Wink of Stella
- Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink
- Versafine Onyx Black Ink
I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which is a great size for standard and 9A envelopes.
For the background, I first embossed the stitched clouds, heat embossed the snowflakes background in white and then lightly inked with squeezed lemonade, spun sugar & milled lavender oxide inks.
Next, I stamped the sentiments in versafine black ink from the Peek-a-boo Balloon & Christmas Is Coming stamp sets and trimmed into banners.
I then stamped the images from the sets listed above, colored with copic markers, and cut out using the coordinating dies. I layered many of them with foam tape to give depth to the images against the sky.
To finish the card, I added some stickles to the lights and added a few pastel sequins.
I hope you are inspired to try non-traditional colors AND images for your next Christmas card!
Thank you so very much and Have a very Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Candice
