Hi friends! In light of everything going on right now, I wanted to make a bright and happy card. I used the gorgeous March Mood Board for inspiration...the bright yellow and blues just make me happy, and that little pop of pink is a fun touch!
To begin, I cut an A2 rectangle using the blue gingham plaid print from the Hello Sunshine Remix Petite Paper Pad. Next, using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables Lawn Cuts, using the largest rectangle, I cut a panel from Bristol smooth cardstock. I cut my rectangle in half, as I will stencil only half of it. I placed the Radiating Rays Stencil on top of my halved rectangle, and ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink pads. I set my panel aside to dry.
Next, I stamped the images from Hello Bluebird's Garden Friends Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored my stamped images with Copic markers and added highlights with a white gel pen. All colored images were then cut out using the Garden Friends Dies.

I then attached the patterned paper to an A2 card base. Next, I attached the inked sun rays to my card front. The birds were attached using foam tape for dimension. Finally, I stamped the "You make my beak sing" sentiment from the Silly Birds Stamp set onto pale pink cardstock and cut out using the Everyday Sentiment Banners Lawn Cuts. I attached that to the front of my card, tucking under the birds feet and covering the seam from the inked panel.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope my card put a smile on your face :)
Stay safe and healthy, my friends.
XO,
Tammy
This is absolutely darling!
