I created my card using lots of products you can find in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store:
- Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Pals stamps & coordinating dies
- Avery Elle Sweet Swines stamps & coordinating dies
- Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Fair stamps & coordinating dies
- Avery Elle Speech Bubbles stamps
I began my card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which is just the right size for your standard envelopes.
For the background, I first inked a piece of Bristol Smooth with wilted violet, picked raspberry, worn lipstick & squeezed lemonade and then splattered with water and dabbed off with a paper towel. I then made the photo panel by trimming another piece of Bristol Smooth and using stitched square die cuts created my photo frame. Using the same colors of oxide inks as the background, I applied them to acetate and with a wet paint brush splattered the photo frame.
Next, I stamped all the images from the sets listed above, colored them with copic markers, and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out, also listed above. I adhered them all with the photo frame with foam tape for some dimension.
I finished by stamping the speech bubble and sentiment inside with versafine and added near the panda. I also heat embossed the other sentiment in white and trimmed to a banner. I added a few nuvo drops in matching colors to the background for a bit shine.
Thank you so much for visiting today!
