Hello crafty friends! I hope you're all doing well. Gladys here and I'm happy to be back on the BRI blog today. I have a colorful and cute slimline birthday card to share with you so let's get started shall we....
First I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using Trinity stamps slimline series stitched card panel die. To create my colorful background I blended blueprint sketch, salty ocean, wilted violet, picked raspberry and spiced marmalade distress oxide inks. I splashed some water with a brush and I also added white specks for added interest.
I placed the card panel to the side to let it air dry so I can start coloring my images. I stamped the cute critters from Mama Elephant's newest release called little agenda spaceship. I colored them using copic markers and cut them out using their coordinating dies. I then cut some clouds from white cardstock and vellum.
Next I adhered my images using foam tape for dimension. I heat embossed the sentiment from the little agenda stamp set using silver embossing powder. At this point I decided I wanted to add some balloons on the bottom of my card. I stamped and colored the balloons from Mama Elephant big news stamp set then cut them out using their coordinating dies. Then for the finishing touch I added star sequins and used white gelly roll pen to add highlights. I attached my card panel onto white card stock to give a white border and then cutout a blue cardstock using Trinity Stamp scalloped slimline die. I really love how this card turned out and I hope you like it too!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hugs and happy crafting!!
