Mice on Ice!

Hello crafty friends!

It’s Julia here with another fun wintery scene card! I just can’t get enough! It’s freezing here these days, so I am just all about the frosty scenes! ;-) For this one I used the super cute Mice on Ice stamp set by Lawn Fawn!

First I stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them in using Copic Markers.

Then, I die cut the Stitched Pond out of the piece with the colored Over the Mountain Borders to add a nice detailed edge to my panel. After that, I ink blended Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide onto the top of a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and on the bottom I added Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Peacock Feathers for my skating pond. On the pond I also sprayed shimmer spray to add an icy sheen.

I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto the pond and also stamped some “skating marks” using Broken China Distress Oxide. I adhered the mountain panel onto the background with some foam tape for extra dimension. I added my adorable little skaters to the scene with foam squares. Then I added some little snowflakes to the sky out of Pixie Dust cardstock.

Finally, I added lots of shimmer pen and Stickles to add some extra sparkle!

Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you have a wonderful day!
