Hello crafty friends and welcome back! Gladys here with another cute card using Lawn Fawn's strawberry stamp sets. I had to get all the strawberry stamps and dies from the latest release because they go so well together. Here I combined the
Strawberries add-on and
Berry Special set.
First I stamped out the images on 110lb cardstock using
milk chocolate ink. I used copic markers to color them then used the
coordinating dies to cut them out. I did use the jar from
How You Bean stamp set for the
pile of strawberries.
Next I cut a panel that was a little smaller than a standard A2 size. I began ink blending the background using distress oxide inks in
seedless preserves,
picked raspberry,
saltwater taffy,
mowed lawn and
twisted citron. For interest I diluted
mowed lawn with a bit of water and splattered it on the bottom panel using a small paint brush. I repeated the steps using
seedless preserves on the top part of the panel.
For interest I wrapped some twine on the jar and foam mounted the images to the center of the panel. Then I adhered it onto the striped green pattern paper from the
Flower Market paper pack. Finally I white heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock to complete this sweet card to send to someone berry special!
