Oh So Merry

Hello again! It's Allison, and I'm back with a fun holiday card this week. I have really enjoyed stretching my standard size stamps into images that can be used for slimline cards, and this adorable penguin set from Mama Elephant is perfect for that. The matching die set not only cuts out the image, but it also comes with a fantastic word die, which is what I used for my card today. Both of these can be found in the Butterfly Reflections shop , along with the adorable new Mama Elephant anniversary release! I was really in the mood for a relaxing watercolor session, so I cut a piece of watercolor paper using the Slim Card Basics die set from Mama Elephant. To extend the stamp across the panel, all you need is a stamp platform, like the Misti , and some masking paper . If you're way more talented than me, and you have a large acrylic block, then you could do this without a stamp platform. But, I was not going to attempt that feat!  First, I positioned the stamp so that it...

Pumpkin Patch with Davina

Hello friends! Davina here, on the blog, with an exciting interactive card to share. My project is another fun example of the beautiful September Moodboard and a mashup between Lawn Fawn & Reverse Confetti products.   I really love the way these beautiful colors come together. I’ve used them several times this month, in both soft and bold versions, and with stunning results each time. I wanted to use glittery gold cardstock for this camera die and love that I found a curry cardstock, is my stash, that was very similar in tone to pair up with it.  As usual, all of the products used are available on the  Butterfly Reflections Ink  website. And I will provide links through this post for all of the products.   I started by building my camera using the newer  Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Camera Die Add On  and the  Camera Pull Tab Add On  dies. I cut the camera 3 times from curry cardstock, glitter gold cardstock, and a Blush striped patterned p...

Hello everyone, Happy Friday! Leeds here and today I'm sharing a cute and fun Halloween Card. I was using several Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create the scene, here are the steps:  Step 1: Stamp all the images from Lawn Fawn Costume Party , Ahoy Matey , Booyah and Out of This World using Memento Black Ink Pad . Step 2: Color each image using Copic Markers. I also added a few highlights using white gel pen. Step 3: Cut a white cardstock using Hello Bluebird Skating Pond Scene Die and color the trees using Copic Markers. Step 4:  For the background,  ink blended Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide , then splatter it with white acrylic paint. You're Out of This World!

Hi crafty friends!! Sophie here sharing this idea for a fun birthday card! This Mama Elephant Little Agenda Spaceship stamp set  and coordinating dies is one of my all time favorite sets! To create this card I used the Mama Elephant Slim Film City Creative Cuts as well as the Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts . I inked up my galaxy sky with Peacock Feathers , Tumbled Glass , and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks and splattered on some white acrylic paint for stars. I colored these adorable little images with Copic markers and adhered everything down with some foam tape !  To finish the card off I added some finishing touches with a white gel pen and some glossy accents over the helmets of those adorable little critter astronauts!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have an out of this world day!! I'll be back soon sharing a fun fall project! 🍁

Missing You Is REAL RUFF!

Hi everyone! Tina here sharing a Fall inspired card using adorable products from Mama Elephant. By the way, have you seen the new release? Make sure you stop by the shop and check it out HERE . Fall is my favorite season and although it is still 90 plus degrees in SoCal I was in the mood to create a Fall themed card.  I cut out this adorable scallop layer from the Mama Elephant Sweet Feline Dies for the background. I inked it up with a soft blend using my mini distress ink cubes. I cut the grass from the My Favorite Things Grassy Hills dies. Then I stamped, embossed and Copic colored the adorable pups from the Mama Elephant My Pet Puppies stamps. I masked the chihuahua onto the tree stump stamp from the Mama Elephant Pix's Favorites set. The sentiment bubbles are from the Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts . I stamped and embossed the sentiments, inked around the edges and added some Doodlebug hearts. This year has been RUFF! And I certainly am missing ...

Slimline Shaker Halloween Monster

Happy Tuesday!  Amanda here!  I hope you're all having a great week so far!  I'm happy to be back this week sharing another Halloween card!  For this week's card, I am creating a slimline shaker card!  I'm using many of the same products as I used for last week's card . To make this card, I'm starting with Heffy Doodle's Stitched Slimline Tri o Dies and the Slimline Pull Tab Dies .  I'm using Oreo Crunch and Plum Pudding colored cardstock from Heffy Doodle.  For my base, I'm using 80# Neenah Solar White cardstock. For the grass that will be peeking through my shakers, I'm using Trinity Stamp's Slimline Card Series: Scenic Border Dies . My cute little monster is from the Monster Love stamp set from Concord and 9th.  I'm stamping this spooky little guy with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring him in with Copic markers. For my little flags and sentiment, I'm going to use Taylored Expressions Pennant Parade Stamp Set . I'm usi...

BOOYAH!

Hello, everyone! It's Allison here, and I'm excited to be back with you and sharing another card. Today I am using a new-to-me stamp set – Mama Elephant’s Little Boo Agenda . I have not made very many Halloween cards in the past, but they’re so irresistibly cute that I’m finally giving in. I used a fun mix of products from other companies for this card, as well.  First I cut a sheet of grey cardstock in half. I scored one half into a top-folding A2 sized card base. I cut the other half into 2 equal pieces. On each of these pieces, I centered up the 4 th  largest die from the Waffle Flower A2 Layers set and cut out the center to create a frame. Did I line up the die perfectly? Nope – no I did not. But that’s okay – nobody will ever notice. Except for anyone who is reading this blog post. I then cut a piece of acetate to be slightly smaller than the frames. Using Scor-Tape , I adhered the acetate in between the two frames.    I stamped the ghosts with Memento Tuxedo ...
