Butterfly Reflections, Ink

  Hello Friends, Waleska here! Happy Halloween Day!!! I am super excited to share with you a super colorful halloween card I created with lots of Trinity Stamps products you can find at the shop! I hope you like it! Card Details: To create this card, I started by cutting tree pumpkings from the Harvest Candy and Flower Bucket Die Set with purple, orange and green cardstock I then used Oxide Inks in colors, Wilted Violet, Mowed Lawn and Carved Pumpking to add some shading to this pieces.   I then cut the faces of the pumpkins with black cardstock and add them to the pumpkins. I die cut the candy that comes in this cute set from the same colors I used before and I added some gold touches here and there with the Solid Gold Cardstock . I then cut with black cardstock the Trinity Stamps Foliage frame for a night look and adhere it to a background I inked with carved pumpkin and mowed lawn oxide ink. I've had these little witch cuties in my stash and I wanted to use them before the Halloween season was over. I chose colors for my card based on the October BRI Mood Board. Hey All! Kelly Fusco here. For this card I'm using Altenews "Beauty Within" Stamp & Die set . I have the coordinating stencil but I didn't need it or use it for this card.  To start off I stamped my Images onto 80lb Neenah cardstock.  I used Copics to flick color onto them. I used: RV10,RV21,RV23 & RV25 V20,BV20,BV01,BV02 & BV13 BG10,BG23,BG45, & BG13 YG11,YG03,YG25 & YG17 the centers I used YR24 & YR27 Then I die cut everything out.  Once I laid out how I wanted them to appear I used Press n Seal and press it onto my layout, flipped it over and added glue and foam tape.  Now comes the FREESTYLE....I took another 80lb panel of Neenah and I used the CHISEL side of my black Copic and from the outside edge I swiped in like a brushstroke. I repeated that down the left side of my panel.   It doesn't have to be perfect as much of it will be covered plus I love that organic look. Then I took 1 copic from each color family

Hi everyone!  Linda  here today with a fun box card! Don't you just love sending these cards or receiving them? You can flatten them very easily and just pop right back up again! So they do fit in a normal envelop! I created this box card with the fun Happy Haunting stamp set from Mama Elephant! I started this fun card by diecutting a box frame from black cardstock with the Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I then added the stitched pieces, which I diecutted with the same set from white cardstock, blending these pieces with Black Soot, Broken China and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.  I added white splatters to my blended pieces to make them more fun. I then added the trees and grass pieces, diecutted from black and dark grey cardstock. I then stamped all the fun images from the set and added them to my box card. Happy Haunting! Hello crafty friends! Here Laura, today I show you this birthday card made with the " Party animals " stamps of Mama Elephant . You can find it in the Butterflyreflectionink store 😉 To start with, I stamped the animals with " Detail black hybrid ink pad " and then painted it with Copic markers .  For the sentiment I used the " Big wishes Creative Cuts " of Mama Elephant  with mirror glossy cardstock that you can also find in the Butterflyreflectionink shop ! ☺️  Now we are going to prepare the background: for this I used the distress oxide inks in the Kitsch Flamingo and Shaded Lilac tones.  And finally I prepared the composition and glued all the pieces with Flitter Glu to make the result more durable! 😉  I hope you like it!  Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here and I'm back with a Christmas Lawn Fawn Flippy Flappy card! I'm really loving how fun the Flippy Flappy die is!  Making this Flippy Flappy card, I decided to start with the card before I created the mechanism. I started by cutting some red and white striped patterned paper for my background. I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangles because I love the cute the stitching detail. I then cut Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper cardstock to 3.75 x 5 and inked the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink .  I used the new Lawn Fawn Giant Merry Christmas  to make my sentiment out of kraft and white cardstock. I used Finley's ABCs to cut the Dear. I added little highlights with the white Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I also used the new Lawn Fawn Christmas Garland for the cute greenery.  I then made the cute new  Cheery Deer with a kraft cardstock frame. Hi crafty friends! Jenn here with a card inspired by my kids! They are really into Harry Potter right now so I thought a Harry Potter card would be the perfect way to end my Halloween cards for October. A few weeks ago, my daughter created this Harry Potter card (please click this link) ... she grabbed a bunch of craft supplies and disappeared into her room, and when she emerged, she had created this amazing card. I was totally inspired by her creativity and how she altered the stamps! So she really was the one who inspired today's card 😊  Remember my bear scene changing card where mama bear is reading books to her baby bear? This card is the sequel! Hello crafty friends! Peggy here with some Christmas inspiration with the beautiful products from Mama Elephant. I combined some older products with one of the newly released grid covers to create a super fun shaker card. So, Llama tell you how I made this card! When it came out last month, I totally fell in love with the Globies Grid Cover . Mama Elephant is known for their Little Agenda stamp sets and with the enormous diversity in Grid Cover dies , the possibilities are endless. I started by stamping out some images from the Little Llama Agenda that would be suitable for Christmas, as well as the letters JOY from the Joy Ornaments set. I stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink , which is my favorite alcohol marker friendly ink. Next, I colored the images with my copics and fussy cut them out. I love the Tim Holtz Serrated Scissors for this because it gives a little more grip. Next, I used the Globies Grid Cover to cut out some foam to create my shaker pockets, as well as the front

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the October BRI Mood Board Challenge . This is the perfect Spooky palette that you can use for all your Halloween creations! We really don’t have a great Halloween celebration here in Italy, so I don’t have a lot of Halloween stamps or dies (even if I love them!). So I went through my crafty stash and I tried to look for a way to stretch them….and this is the result! I had the idea to mask those two little bears from Pretty Pink Posh Bear Friends stamp set and transform them into a trick or treat guys! I firstly stamped them on a piece of copic friendly paper, using Memento Tuxedo black ink for the bigger one and Memento London Fog for the smallest. In this way, I reached the faded look of the ghost. I also drew all the accessories (hat, coat and ghost’s sheet) with a black fineliner . I also stamped all the pumpkins – which comes from the PPP Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set - and the two bats of the background. I

Hey Butterfly Reflections Ink fans! Kelly Fusco here.... thesunshinecrafter I enjoy and appreciate color but I struggle with coloring, like many people.  So for this card Im using the "flick" method.  I used Gina K "Caring Flowers" stamp set & Waffle Flowers Deckled frames dies for this card.  To start I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto 110lb Neenah. I used copics: BG11,BG32,BG34 & BG15 BV01,BV02  RV21,RV23,RV25  & a wee bit of YG13 for the leaves.  Here you can see the flick coloring and for the stamen which got drowned out from the markers I added White Gelly Roll pen. When you color using flicks you leave some white space and you don't have to be perfect or worry about blending. Whoo hoo. Thats for me! After I finished my coloring I used Versafine Onyx (pigment ink) for my sentiment and I added Hero Arts Clear Embossing powder on top, heated n melted it.  I die cut my panel with the smaller d

Hi everyone!  Linda  here today with a fun new Christmas Card! This adorable card was created with the  Christmas Critters  stamp set from Avery Elle? Don't you just love these two cuties? I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a front panel, diecutted with a stitched rectangle die. I love adding those, just for the nice stitched borders! I then blended the background in pink colours, starting with a dark colour on the top, a lighter colour in the middle and a soft pink colour at the bottom.  For this card I used  Abandoned Coral ,  Worn Lipstick  and  Tattered Rose . I then added some white splatters, to make it even more fun! I stamped the sentiment from the set in the upper middle and started stamping the two adorable images from the set. I fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them on to my card.  Thank you so much for watching today, hope  to  see you next time!

Next I used the " Die-namics Bitty Bears " that you can also find in the butterflyreflectionink shop !  For the background I used the " Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX " of MFT Stamps and the Polaroid frames are cut in Foam .  I hope you like it!  Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with an interactive Lawn Fawn card featuring the Flippy Flappy Die . This was such a fun card to make! I started by making the Flippy Flappy mechanism using heavy cardstock. I wanted to make sure I got it right before I moved on to make the rest of the card. Once I got the Flippy Flappy working well, I cut my Lawn Fawn patterned paper from the Knit Picky Fall Paper Pad and attached it to the mechanism.  I then made the sentiment using Honey Bee Thanks die cut and the "a" from "latte" from the Fall Honey Cuts set. I added in a yellow shadow so it would pop off the turquoise patterned paper. I also added in a few leaves from Lawn Fawn Fall Leaves Backdrop  that I colored with Copic markers.  Of course, I had to add in Lawn Fawn's super cute Lovely Latte ! I used Copic markers to color in the cup and latte. I topped it all off with white highlights using the white Gelly Roll Pen . Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!

Hellooo crafty friends! It's another Monday in October and I have another Halloween card for you! Here was my creative thought process with this card: I wanted to create a very traditional orange-and-black Halloween card. I also wanted to make a full panel shaker card. I absolutely love the hot dog dachshund from Paperie Ink's Happy Haunting set . I loooove puns. TA-DA! And this is what I came up with! First, I stamped and colored the adorable hot dog doggie with Copic markers (dog E13, E15, E18; hot dog costume E30, E31, E34, R24, Y17) and fussy cut the image. For the background, I used the emboss resist technique by stamping my images and heat embossing clear embossing powder . Then I ink blended Distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon, black soot) and then wiped any excess ink off the images.   Hi Friends!  I'm so happy to be sharing this October mood board inspired card with you today!   To create this card, I first cut a piece of Neenah white cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die.  Then I stamped and masked off the background images using copic-friendly black ink.  The haunted house was first stamped from the Happy Haunting stamp set .  Then, I masked the house using masking paper and stamped the images of two trees from critters in the forest stamp set .  I masked off the trees and then ink blended a sky using the following distress oxide inks (top to bottom): chipped sapphire , shaded lilac and tumbled glass .  Distress oxide inks in seedless preserves and dusty concord added to the bottom edge for ground color.  The background was splattered using water, white acrylic ink and black acrylic ink. Next, I unmasked the images and colored them using copic markers.  Images from fox costumes before n' afters  were stamped, colored and cut using the co
