Spooky

Happy Friday everyone! Gladys here and I'm excited to share this spooky card with you today. Alright alright there's nothing spooky about it at all. But can I just say that Hello Bluebird keeps coming out with the cutest critter stamp sets out there. Hello!! Just take all my monies! Hahaha!  If you would like to learn how I made this card please keep reading.   First I used a circle die to cut from Bristol smooth card stock. Then I blended salty ocean, blueprint sketch and black soot distress oxide inks . I then splattered some water with a brush. I also used  perfect pearls to make the starry background. Next I colored the images from the Hello Bluebird August release called Halloween Party . It comes with a few adorable critters dressed up in their Halloween costume. For this card I decided to only used the racoon, a pumpkin, and some bats. I borrowed a few other images from other stamps: the...

You're Furtastic

Hello, Butterfly Reflections Ink friends! It's Cassie here from Creatively Cass, and I'm so happy to be back on the BRI blog to share a card I made with you. One of my fave things about being back on the blog is getting a chance to use all the goodies I purchased from Vanessa in the shop. There aren't enough hours in the day! Today I made a card using a stamp set that has been calling my name from The Greeting Farm. Isn't this so bright and fun?! I just love those little ladies and their kitten friends. I started the card by stamping the center girl from Hey Pretty Kitty Stamp . I made a mask for her and then stamped her two friends next to her with MFT's Extreme Black ink because it is Copic friendly. Then I colored them in with some really simple Copic combos. I wanted this little trio to really pop so I used the Heffy Doodle Clover Frame Dies to cut them out. I used a couple gray and tan copics to create a ground, but for the sky I ink blended Broken Chi...

Hello lovelies and welcome to my last DT project, it's Mona here! Today I am showing you a thank you card what I made for Vanessa. I am in love with Lawn Fawn stamps, this time I mixed a lot from them hope you will like it. :) I started making the card with massive masking. You can find my previous masking tutorial here: Happy Mail. This time I used these Lawn Fawn stamps: Winter Unicorn , Easter Party , Fairy Friends , Frosty Fairy Friends , Party Animal , Beary Happy Holidays , Hay There , Beam Me Up , Baaah Humbug , You Are Claw Some , Elphie Selphie, Meow You Doin ' and colored them with my Copic Markers.  When the coloring was done I added some highlight with the  Uni-Ball Signo White  pen. Next I stamped to my card base the "Thank you fairy much" text with Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad then I heat embossed with Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder . When it was done I cut it out with Craft Knife. The next step was the backgrou...

OK...enough with the mushy stuff and on to the crafty stuff!   This mini album was definitely a labor of love, but totally worth it in the end...I started with matting my photos and planning my pages with the 6x8 paper pad in...

Put some ZIPPITY in your DOO-DAH DAY!

Hi there, this is Tanya from Studio 5380. How do you add a bit of ZIPPITY to your DOO-DAH DAY?  I don't know about you, but coffee always works for me! So do adorable products from Cas-ual Friday, Lawn Fawn and Doodlebug! I used some fabulous stamps and dies to create this card including the following: Cas-ual Fridays "To Go Cup" Cas-ual Fridays "Cup of Coffee" Cas-ual Fridays "Coffee Talk" The sunflower is from Lawn Fawn's "Happy Harvest" stamp set.  I also used the coordinating die set and gave the center a bit of sparkle with a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. I also added a few dots of Aztec Gold Nuvo Glitter Accents to the center of my sunflower. The printed papers and sprinkless are from Doodlebug and I love the pretty fall colors. That's about it for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by - I hope you have a Zippity Doo-Dah Day!

Lawn Fawn--Summer Reveal Wheel Scene Card

Good morning, everyone, Amy Copeland here with my final project as part of the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team.  I can't believe it's over--time sure flies when you are having fun!  Hopefully you will see me again, though, for some guest posts in the future.  :)     I decided to go out with a bang and use products from my all-time favorite stamp company, Lawn Fawn --hurry on over to the shop, because they just released their Fall/Winter 2018 release today and it's AWESOME!  :)   I used the Reveal Wheel  for the first time and this card was SO fun to make!  I started out by creating the background panel--I cut the Reveal Wheel background panel out of Moonstone cardstock and then another panel out of Cilantro cardstock.  I then used a die from the Simple Stitched Hillside Border  set to create a sloping hill from my green panel.   I used the Reveal Wheel Speech Bubble Add-On die to create the sentiment w...

Home for the Holidays with Pinkfresh Studios

Hi everyone! I can't believe this is my last blog post as part of the Butterfly Reflections, Ink design team! I've had so much fun over the last few months being a part of this team and I'm sad to see it come to an end. I know Vanessa will pick and amazing team to take over and I can't wait to see all their creations. For today's card, I'm getting into the holiday spirit with the latest release from  Pinkfresh Studio . I was obsessed with the  Cityscape Die  from the moment I first saw it. I used it with the  Home for the Holidays Stamp Set  to make the sweetest little Christmas scene. They also have a  Day in the City Stamp Set  which goes with the  Cityscape Die  for every day cards without a holiday flare. I started with cutting the  Cityscape Die  out of Bristol Smooth card stock since I knew I was going to be doing some ink blending over the die cut panel. I then stamped all the images using my  MISTI ...
