Quick and Simple Graduation Cards

Hey friends! Britney here with a quick and simple cards featuring several Lawn Fawn products ( Simply Celebrate Spring Stamp set ,  Celebration Scripty Sentiments ). We had a lot of graduated this year and this is a quick and simple way to “mass produce” multiple cards at once while still making them feel personalized based on the school they attended.  If you’ve ever read any of my previous blog posts before, you know I like to start with my background first. It was really important to do so this time as two of the backgrounds needed time to dry. I tried to choose coordinating school colors for my graduates.  I used the largest of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables for my large background colors, the middle size of the same die set for my middle background colors and the middle size of the  Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables  for my white cardstock. For the two blue backgrounds, I used  Altenew Classy Stripes Stencil ...

Interactive Missing You Card

Hello, BRI friends!  Long time no see, right?  I'm delighted to be back on the BRI blog and have a really fun card to share with you. I just love Avery Elle's Peek-A-Boo collection and thought this sentiment from the Peek-A-Boo Fair set was perfect during this time of social distancing.  What makes it even more great is that it's interactive!  When the recipient pulls the tab, those bumper cars move and actually "miss" each other.  How fun! Those adorable critters are from the Peek-A-Boo Pals set and the bumper cars and flags are from the Peek-A-Boo Fair set.  I stamped everything in Ink On 3 Blackout Hybrid Ink and colored the images with Copics. For my background I used Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides along with an old stencil from Neat & Tangled.  I trimmed down the panel with a stitched rectangle die, flicked on white paint, and stamped the sentiment from Peek-A-Boo Fair.   To create t...

Swan To Say

Hey everyone! Kelli here sharing this cute and simple card for that special someone in your life! My 5th year anniversary is coming up on July 25th and I think I'll give this to my husband! I used Lawn Fawn's Swan to Say stamp set  to create this card. I colored all the images using Copic markers. To add some sparkle to the crowns, hearts, and stars, I used Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and Chunky Glitter . These are absolute staples for me with my cards. I feel they are naked if I don't use the glitter! Hope you like this card!

The Forbidden Forest by Davina

Hello crafty friends! I’m super excited to share the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Inspired slimline for you today. It’s been quite some time since I made a Harry Potter card, using all Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. And all though this one doesn’t feature Harry himself, hopefully you won’t be disappointed.  I was brainstorming ideas for an interactive card using the new Lawn Fawn  Lift the Flap Slimline Dies , and I had this fun idea of having different animals under each flap. When I brought Hogwarts into the mix I immediately thought about the Forbidden Forest, and I started pulling out tons of stamp sets. I’ve always wanted to create a Lawn Fawn Hagrid, and it was very simple to customize the older  Gnome Sweet Gnome . I masked off the hat while inking my stamp then using a pencil and a multi liner I drew in some fluffy 80s hair. I used gold  LF Embossing Powder  for the little lantern from  Fairy Friends  Set, and I used a puppy from  Happ...

Out of this world birthday

Hello crafty friends! I hope you're all doing well. Gladys here and I'm happy to be back on the BRI blog today. I have a colorful and cute slimline birthday card to share with you so let's get started shall we.... First I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using Trinity stamps slimline series  stitched card panel  die. To create my colorful background I blended blueprint sketch, salty ocean, wilted violet, picked raspberry and spiced marmalade distress oxide inks. I splashed some water with a brush and I also added white specks for added interest. I placed the card panel to the side to let it air dry so I can start coloring my images. I stamped the cute critters from Mama Elephant's newest release called  little agenda spaceship . I colored them using copic markers and cut them out using their coordinating dies . I then cut some clouds from white cardstock and vellum. Next I adhered my images using foam tape for dimension. I heat embossed the s...

Christmas Crafting In June with Erica

Hi guys! It’s Erica here to guest for Vanessa and the BRI blog today! It’s always a pleasure to pop in with an appearance here after being on the DT years ago. One of the easiest and most chilled out DT’s ever, so if you are wanting to dip your toes in and try out being on a design team, you should definitely apply the next time there is a DT call. On July 1st, the Daily Marker Coloring Challenge is starting again. I’m so excited about it, not that I really need an excuse to sit down and colour but it’s always fun to see my Insta feed flooded with coloring projects. During one of the last ones, I coloured in the Snow Buddies from MFT Stamps. That set is beyond adorable. Apparently Avery, Vanessa’s daughter, loved the snowman I did so I thought that would be perfect to use for today’s card. This one is for you, Avery! I coloured in one of the little girls as well as the dogs (only one showing here) as well. All done with the Copics in the photo below, plus a few more. Th...

Fox with Flowers Friendship Card with Christy Gets Crafty

Hello friends, it's Christy here with a card using the adorable  MFT Hooray Kind of Day  stamp set designed by Stacey Yacula. All of the images in this set are just so cute, but the fox is my favorite, and I just had to use her on today's card. I colored her and her little snail friend in with Copic Markers and trimmed them out with the  matching dies . For the focal panel, I cut a MFT Wonky Stitched Circle out of Bristol Smooth Surface and watercolored a background using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens . I stamped a sentiment at the top using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink , and stamped a few more images and another sentiment on the inside of my Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers card base with Peachy Keen Ink . I selected some patterned paper from the  MFT Fun in the Sun  and  Positively Peppy  6x6 pads and trimmed down the largest floral print with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I layered them on my card front with Tombow Mo...

Sending Hugs

Hi Friends!  I'm back sharing more mood board inspiration using a mix of products from Avery Elle.  I pulled out my "stash" and decided to use some products that had been sitting in my craft room for quite a long time.  Do you raid your "stash" from time to time and use your older stamps and dies on cards?  To start this card, I ink blended a background using distress oxide inks evergreen bough , peacock feathers and antique linen .  The panel was splattered with water and left to dry. Next, lavender cardstock was cut using the  Cloud mat die .  A few of the cloud pieces were inked in green to look like foliage and the rest were inked in purple.  Next, a piece of white cardstock was used to cut the wonky square frame.  Woodgrain backdrop stamp used to stamp a piece of brown cardstock to create the "log," I used the Avery elements dot border die set to add a dotted pattern to the top of the log.  I stamped the imag...

My brother and I have extremely close birthdays, so growing up there was a lot of shared birthday parties. This fun scene is a little homage to those times. Monster Hugs

Happy Friday all! Heather here with you today to share a card that I recently created using lots of goodies from the Shop! I am just in LOVE with creating slimline cards these days (forever inspired by Davina!!) and I'm so happy that some our favorite companies are coming out with great dies to make this easier! Beats part is that Vanessa has so many option in the Butterfly Reflection Shop! Here's a look at my card: To create today's card I'm using the set by Mama Elephant called the Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts . I used the large scalloped die, card panel die, and the fun stitched holes from this set. I cut them all out of Bristol paper - and got to work inking them up using Faded Jeans , Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. Once the ink dried I pulled out my Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolors and used several of the golds to splatter onto my card panel. Here's a closer look: Next I went to town coloring my images. I'm using ...
