Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

I love using G's all over my home for decor since I've gotten married, it's the initial of my new last name! :) So I wanted to have a 'G' decoration in my Halloween stash! I bought a galvanized G and a little cute black felt witch hat from Michael's. Then I took some super cute Frankie & Friends bits and pieces and the Frankie & Friends enamel dots to make it fun! This Halloween 'G' looks so cute on my bookcase with all my other Halloween decorations!! A really fun addition! What a great way to use up those die cut pieces!!

a Wink and a Nod to Mixed Media in Cardmaking

Hello! Samantha here on this Halloween eve! :D I have a super FUN card to share that I made with AMAZING products from the Butterfly Reflections Ink store! Here's a little snippet of what this post is all about! Oh yes! Lots of layers, texture and fun!! Ok, here's the full card: First I used some gelatos to create the blue background. I scribbled them onto some Tim Holtz Watercolor paper and then added lots of water with a paintbrush to blend and move the colors around! I also finished off the color (once it was dry!) with some Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink on a few of the edges! But you could totally create the SAME look with watercolors! Then I stamped a few the adorable and beautiful small, text style sentiments from the Over the Rainbow Butterfly Reflections Ink EXCLUSIVE stamp set multiple times. I also did some 2nd generation stamping with the same sentiments. Then I stamped some of the small clustered stars in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink  to add a li...

An Interactive Card

Hey everyone! I am finally back!  I have been in the process of  a big move so i have been missing in action but here I am again.  Today I'm sharing a card that kind of accidentally happened.  I will get to that in a bit.  This card uses some Lawn Fawn papers, flair and a couple other fun products. Here is a look at the card front. If you lift up on the flair you can see the interactive part of the card as the circle opens like a small door.  It is home to this cute little embossed owl from Lawn Fawn.  I say this came about accidentally as I was punching a circle and it didn't quite punch out all of the way. This gave me the idea to put the little owl behind. I hope that you have enjoyed my little mishap today :)  Thanks for stopping by and take a look at the adorable stamp set i used today in the shop! Lawn Fawn Joy Card

Happy Saturday Everyone!!  Its Trish here with a Christmas Card for you.....I know your probably thinking its still October!  :)  But I always get a huge head start on my cards because they take me quite a while to make them all (I make cards for my mom and myself to send out), so I thought I'd provide you with some inspiration.  And I'm using a TON of products that you can find in the BRI Store . Enough talk, onto the card that I created for my project.  Its a very simple card and could easily be mass produced in stages to send out to family and friends. And I've created a video showing you exactly how I created it! Check it out below: Hope you guys enjoyed this card and it provides you with some inspiration for the cards you need to create this holiday season!  Best sure to head over to the BRI store and pick up some of these fantastic goodies!

Merry Christmas

Hello crafty friends. I have a simple Christmas card and video featuring some new additions of the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop. You can watch the video for more on my process. My starting inspiration was the deer from Paper Smooches A Holy Holiday . I thought it would look great as a silhouette with a snowy background using the Memory Box Winter Tiny Snowflakes . I used some Hero Arts Unicorn White ink to make the snowflakes. For the sentiment I wanted to use this bold sentiment set and dies from WPlus9 . I love word dies and this one is so pretty and elegant for the Christmas season. You could of course just get the stamp set but I like the versatility of the dies and they are a great price. For gluing down the dies I recommend Multi Medium Matte from Ranger as it does not leave any residue if it leaks out from under the sentiment.

Holiday Decor!!

Hello Everyone!! Piali here, today I have non-card projects to share with you all. I like using the paper crafting products to make holiday home decor or for packaging. Small frames are perfect for creating a festive look around the house! Here is a 8x8 frame .. I used Pink Paislee -Merry & Bright Ephemera pack . Love the diecuts or ephemera packs, they creating anything a breeze. It took me about 10 mins to create this frame...just picked the pieces I wanted to use and adhered them with Multi Medium Matte , simple as that! I'm not sure if you can see all the sparkly goodness of the white glittered diecuts in the picture, its very pretty in real. I have another project ...for this I combined My Mind's Eye- Sleigh Bells Ring products with Pink Paislee -Merry & Bright. Both collection matched pretty well!!! The big paper bow and the silver bell diecut are from My Mind's Eye- Sleigh Bells Ring . The fabulous Kraft Tag and glittered ...

Halloween Shadow Box Picture Frame :)  I created another Halloween project this week!! I had an Ikea shadow box type photo frame and decided to decorate it for my parents. Here are the products that I used: Witches Brew 6 x 6 paper pad Witches Brew Pea Pod Die Cuts Owloween Stew Enamel Stars Halloween Wood Veneers Frankie & Friends Bits & Pieces Black Glitter Beanboard Alphas I made the eyeballs from spellbinders, keeping with the eyeball theme from the paper pad. This is probably my favorite paper in the pad :). I just used some pop dots for dimension. I love decorating the outside of shadow box frames. I think it really adds interest to the photo. Joyful Wishes

Hi everyone, Shawna here. I have a cute little Lawn Fawn card to share today. I am already thinking holidays and getting started on my cards as i know many of you probably are. I apologize to those who are still wanting Halloween and Fall cards!  This is one of my current favorite stamps sets from Lawn Fawn. Check it out in the store. It is called Joy To The Woods  ( keep and eye out for a restock soon!).  I added a doily, a tag, and some embossing powders for this quick, fun card. "Baby" Gifting Idea

Hi crafty friends! Joann here with an awesome little project for you! I decided to make a gift/gift card holder, really for any occasion, in which will hold a gift card in the front pocket and maybe a cookie or some candy in the inside. I decided to go with a baby themed gift idea and use the Simple Stories Hello Baby 6x6 Paper Pad and the coordinating Bits & Pieces die cuts! I created and embellished a pocket on the front of a kraft paper bag in which I purchased at one of my local stores. I took the 2nd sized rectangle from the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn to cut my little insert which will hold the gift card. Finally, just placed a small clothes pin for another cute embellishment. This was super easy and I think turned out super cute! Hope this inspired you to create something a little different for gift cards. Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous Sunday! Make A Wish

I've loved these Storybook stamps from Avery Elle for a long time and I love how they pair so perfectly with this  Sun Ray Stencil from My Favorite Things . I used this stencil in a similar way last week this time I decided to skip the vellum to create a brighter card. For cardstock panel I used the  Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn . These dies add just the right detail and I am addicted to using them. I also used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders to create the hill. I love all the little extras in the set that help set the scene such as the grass and butterflies. With so many  clearance items  currently in the shop you can score some new favorites and great deals to reach the $60 free shipping threshold.

Halloween Tag Mini

I decided to make little gifts for my parents, my in-laws and one of my friends that came to our annual Halloween House last year. I wanted to make a small decoration for their homes. Neither my in-laws nor my friend decorate for Halloween so I didn't want to send over pics in a big ole Halloween Frame-that's more my style! :) But I thought it would be fun for them to have a keepsake from the party. This is the mini I made for my in-laws. I completely *adore* the Frankie and Friends by Simple Stories decorative brads !!! This cute ghost on the front cover is so fun! I tried to make one side for photo(s) and the other for decoration. I really liked the size of the Webster's Pages Ocean Melody sticker letters in coral  for this small project and the color really popped against the lime green color in the Witches Brew collection . The Studio Calico Brighton Pier Silver Star rub ons added the perfect balance for the space below this die cut frame. I also sprinkled ...

I outlined the speech bubble with a black marker and used the stamp set to fill it in. I added the camera with pop dots, and embellished with enamel dots and sequins using the multi medium matte! I just adore how the little camera turned out and i...

Embellishing Wooden Veneers with Video Tutorial

Hello! Today I have a card and video featuring lots of fun goodies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink store . After the video I'll include links to the various products you can find in the shop. I was so excited to find these wood veneers from Chic Tags in my DT package because they pair so perfectly with this Sun Ray Stencil from My Favorite Things . For the vellum and cardstock layers I used the Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn . These dies add just the right detail and I am addicted to using them. To alter the wood veneers I used embossing powder and finished it with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Life is Good . With so many new items added to the shop lately I encourage you to pair the things you have been coveting with the new items to reach the $60 free shipping threshold.
