Because

Hi Crafty Friends Ali here, its great to be guesting for a day with this lovely set from Concord & 9th - Just Because . For this card I was inspired by a recent video by Jennifer McGuire to pull out my perfect pearls and get some shimmer happening on my card!! Many years ago (19 to be exact) I did buy some 'pearl powders' and now you can get Perfect Pearls in so many beautiful colours! That does illustrate that these powders go a long way and last for ages!! Alligator Birthday Card

Hi there, friends! It's Rebekah here to day to share with you this cute little card using the Reverse Confetti  Later Alligator  stamp set! I automatically think this set would lean more towards a boy's card but I wanted to stretch it a bit and use the small bow and birthday cake stamps to make it a card more suitable for a girl! I wanted the alligators to really pop so I added a touch of a cool gray outline around each one. I filled in between with the bow stamp and colored them pink. I then cut the circles from the  Lacy Scllope Circle Dies   and the Pop Up Circle Dies  from Reverse Confetti. In the smaller circle I stamped the birthday cake stamp on top of each other ...

Hello, my friends! Janette here. I am so excited to bring you this fabulous card today so, let's get to it! Okay, do you ever see a new product and think "ya, that's neat but I'm not ______ enough to use that." Some people feel that way about Colorbursts. You might not feel crafty enough, good enough, creative enough, etc... Don't be intimidated. This may be the technique for you!  Begin by misting watercolor paper lightly with water. Break out those Colorbursts. You can find the newest dry powders (matte finish) here , the new Liquid Metals (shimmer finish) here and here , or individually here . Simply tap powder on your dampened paper and drip drops of liquid metal. Give another light water mist and either let your paper sit to dry or pick up and tilt to get those colors moving. Play to your hearts content. Add Colorbursts, blot, mist, brush, shimmy and/or shake. Enjoy watching the colors bloom. Do know that the color will continue to move ...
