Slimline Hibiscus Birthday with Leontine

Hello! Today I'm sharing a slimline card with the new hibiscus and tropical leaves sets from Lawn Fawn. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to get them. You can do so many things with them and this is just one example.  I used Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait on some Peacock cardstock and Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps on some white cardstock. The world is so heavy right now, and I really wanted to make a fun card to send to a friend of mine in Texas. She loves flamingos, so I decided to use the Lawn Fawn flamingo together stamp set but add a NOT to the sentiment to make it a bit more timely. :) I usually use a dotting technique for sand, and today I added it to the flamingos and the leaves of the "palm tree" (a branch and leaves from Lawn Fawn's a bug deal stamp set ) as well ... I love how it turned out! The stamp sets as well as the following products used in this project can be found in the shop (and don't forget about the 10% discount going on now!): Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil tumbled glass Distress Oxide ink Copic markers Lawn Fawn gemstone shimmery card stock Lawn Fawn black card stock Lawn Fawn simply sentiments stamp set white gel pen foam squares scissors for fussy cutting VersaMark ink clear embossing powder I hope this card brought a smile to you. The first thing I did was, I made masks of all the images with  Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper , then stamped my scenes with  Momento Tuxedo Black Ink  on all of my cards. On my first card, I decided I wanted to use colors, that I normally wouldn't. Ya know, so I could color teal flamingos. Really, I grabbed an old color wheel I have and chose Copic colors that worked together. When all of my images were colored, I masked everything off again. Then, on the top half of the panel, I added...
