Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hello everyone, I'm back guest designing with a set of Thankful cards from Concord and 9th.  This set is so versatile that it can be used for any occasion. I started with Hero Arts ombre ink and stamped the background from the Lace Leaf stamp set .    I then stamped the leaf with  Versamark  and heat embossed it with  Hero Arts gold tinsel  embossing powder.  I then stamped the sentiment with  black ink .  I did this for all three cards and just mixed up the colours of the background. Hi there!   This is Tanya from Studio 5380 sharing a sparkly shaker card with you today...     These beautiful flowers are from the new Lawn Fawn die set, Pretty Poppies.   I cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock and inked them up with Distress Oxides in the following colors:  Worn Lipstick , Spiced Marmalade , Peeled Paint and Iced Spruce.   After inking the flowers and leaves, I spritzed them with a bit of water and watched the Distress Oxides do their magic! I really love these inks! This beautiful sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Flutter By.   I stamped my sentiment with  VersaMark Ink and sprinkled on some Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.   After heat embossing the sentiment, I was ready to assemble my card.    I cut out my black layer 4 times and adhered them together so that my sequins would have space to move freely when shaken.  I filled the shaker area with some ...

Happy Monday, Kim with you today!  Have you seen all the fabulous sneaks from CHA? Oh my, I spent the weekend wishing I had been there!  I can't wait for all the launches :) My project today features the beautiful Avery Elle Butterflies! I love butterflies but this set... oh my! I cut my base panel with the Avery Elle Wonky Stiches Rectangle  from some Lawn Fawn Guava Cardstock  (Oh this color, I just love it).  I used my Misti to stamp my butterflies with VersaMark Ink  and used gold embossing powder on them.  I really like the way they turned out!  I then die cut the Neat and Tangled "awesome," awesome die from both black cardstock (background) and gold foil paper for the top.  The "You Are" is from the Love Puffin stamp set also by Avery Elle and I stamped and embossed that in the same gold as the butterflies.
