Hello BRI Friends Waleska here again! so glad to be back to share with you on this fun day!!! I hope your decorations are up and your costume is ready! I am a crazy Halloween Lover and Halloween cards are one of my most favorite cards to make! For today's card I created a Zombie scene.. Are you a Zombie fan? I used the most adorable Zombie from the Greeting Farm  Trick or Treat  set!  Before I share with you my card I want to remind you of the Amazing Promo at the Shop on Halloween items, but hurry up because it ends soon!!!There is still are great selection of Halloween products, go check it out!  HERE CARD DETAILS: I started coloring a bunch of zombies (because I did not know how many I was going to use plus you never have too many colored zombies) I die cut two Lawn Fawn  Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Lawn Cuts  in black cardstock and adhere them with  Mono Multi Liquid Glue .  For the background I used Oxide inks in colors  Faded Jeans  and  Seedless Preserves

Hey Crafters! I'm glad to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog today with this super fun card that was really easy to pull together. I've probably talked about this before, but I am often amazed (not in a good way) at how bad I am about sending out cards. As a card maker....this doesn't really make sense. But because I end up selling a lot of what I make, sometimes I just forget to create in bulk so that I can have some on hand in my own stash to send to friends and loved ones. One of my biggest fans is my husband. And let's be honest: He is my person. Sometimes I still can't believe how blessed I am to have him in my life. And so I dedicate today's card to him--a guy who never seems to mind receiving rainbow cards from me! I pulled out my distress oxide inks for today's card and tried a little bit of a different technique. Hello, again!  It's Andrea back with you to share a cute CAS Christmas card (Say that three times fast!).  When I saw Reverse Confetti's Christmas Bear stamp set, I HAD to have it!  I absolutely love Christmas, and I love bears, so put them together and - BAM! - I'm all in! (Yeah, breaking out a little Emeril today, peeps.) This card came together super quickly, yet still turned out so adorable.  (Talk about win, win!)  I stamped the bear and tree from Christmas Bear with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics.  Naturally, I had to add some details with my white gel pen , and I also added some sparkle with a glitter gel pen. Eek!  That bear is so darn cute, especially with that shiny nose (compliments of Glossy Accents ).  To create my background, I ink-blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over MFT Stamps' Geometric Grid Stencil .  I love the subtle interest a stencil and some ink give! Hello and happy Saturday !!  Mayra here from Mayras Designs !!  I am so happy to be sharing these projects with you  today !!  For my card and tag I used My Favorite Things  goodies . To start I used the Bitty Bear stamp set .  These bears are just the cutest !!  I stamped my bears using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink .  I colored in my bears using Copic markers .  I used the beautiful Die-namics Celebrate die . Along with the Die-namics Stitched Tiny Tags .  I was going for a CAS design , I hope I achieved it !  I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you !! Hi everyone!! Can you believe that Halloween is NEXT WEEK?!? I managed to get one more final Halloween project in, this time in the form of a treat tag. Check it out- I started by Copic coloring the fab-boo-lous witch from MFT's Witch Way is the Candy stamp set.  I used some traditional Halloween colors to keep it festive.  A layer of glitter washi tape and a MFT patterned paper was layered behind the witch as the background. I sentiment from the Fab-boo-lous Friends stamp set, also from MFT, worked perfectly for this tag. Some Lawn Fawn twine finished it off! Hi Everyone, It's Jenny here with a new card and please don't hate me but it is a holiday card!  Can you believe it's November nearly?  I need to start my stocking up of holiday cards asap :D This week I'm doing a spot of watercoloring using the fabulous WPLUS9 Christmas Rose Bouquet stamp.  I used a small travel watercolor palette and just had a nice couple of hours to paint!  I also created a video for this card over on my YouTube channel here : I started by stamping the image in Versamark Ink onto Hot Press watercolor paper .  Hot Press is smoother than the more common Cold Press, making it much nicer to stamp on.  However it does tend to take on less water in my experience, so a recommendation for using this type of paper is to use less water than you think you need.   This is a really big stamp so I used my MISTI  and stamped a couple of times.  I then used some Rose Gold embossing powder and heat set the image. Hi, again, Re-Inkers!  It's Andrea back with you today sharing a trio of fall-inspired "thank you" cards.  For all three cards, I used Neat & Tangled's Oak Leaf Stamp Set  with the coordinating dies and my Gansai Tambi watercolors . I began my cards by wetting some watercolor paper with clean water and then layered on various colors of paint.  I kept my brush fairly wet so that the colors would mix and mingle.  After each layer, I dried the paint with my heat tool before adding the next layer.  I forgot to count the number of layers, but it was around four or five, I believe.  Let me tell you, the first couple of layers looked like a hot mess, but I love how the leaves ultimately turned out. Once my watercoloring was dry, I die-cut the outline of the leaf.  Using some metallic paper from my stash, I die-cut the veins with the other die in the set and adhered that on top of the outline. Hi everyone!  It's Christine here for  Butterfly Reflections Ink and I have a new card and video tutorial to share with you today.  I'm really excited to share today's project.  It uses a brand new release from Honey Bee Stamps.  I was blown away with Honey Bee Stamp's most recent release and I bought almost the entirety of it from Vanessa's shop.  Here's today's video: (To view on YouTube, click  HERE ) And here are some pictures of my card: To create today's card, I first created the background.  To do that, I inked a piece of Canson XL Watercolor Paper (cut slightly smaller than an A2 sized card base) with Wild Honey Distress Oxide Ink ,  WornLipstick Distress Oxide Ink , and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink.   I also spritzed some black ink onto the panel for an extra touch.  Next, I used the  Fall Showers Stencil from Honey Bee Stamps and applied some  Gold Glitter Paste to the stencil, which resulted in the beautiful go

Hello there friends!  I am back today with a card celebrating one of my favorite fall treats...Candy Corn!   As you can see, I had to stamp a LOT of Candy Corn for this card!  I pulled out the How You Bean: Candy Corn set from Lawn Fawn and stamped a border of Candy corn along the bottom of an A2 sized card panel.  Then I set about coloring all of the candy corns.  I used simple Copic color blending on the orange and yellow part, and just left the top of the corn white.  For the background I used an ink blending tool and Distress Ink (Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed )  I also stamped a few more bunches of the candy corn and cut them out.  I overlapped those and made a big pile of the candy.   I then stamped the cat and the moon from Witch way is the Candy by MFT, colored them and cut them out.  I added some sparkle using Spectrum Sparkle Pens  .  That's all for today, please be sure to check out the store to see all the supplies I used, and also so ma

Hi peeps! How's it going? Vera here today. It's been a while since I posted for Butterfly Reflections and am so happy to be back here today. For your Sunday inspiration, how about some SugarPea Designs cuteness? I just  love this cute, chubby moose from SugarPea Designs  Easily A'Moosed  set. In my opinion, they're the cutest moose on  the block. Hah! And, since I used to have a hedgehog, double point for this set. ;) A moose & a hedgehog roasting marshmallow together....., ah, what a cozy  night, right? And sometime when you're  feeling all cozy, that's also when you miss someone big time. This happened to me recently, that's why for this image I chose this sentiment (also from the same set). I simply stamp, color and die cut all the images and adhere them with pop-dots. I've got a clean and simple card for you today, they are my favorite to make, that features some adorable critters from My Favorite Things and zig marker coloring. I am always in need of birthday cards for my stash, especially those that can be used for a boy, girl, man or woman. I started with a white card base and die cut/embossed the lower portion with the Stitched Strips Die-Namics . I then used a makeup brush to apply a light layer of green and blue inks to reflect grass and sky. Then I stamped and colored the cool and cute critters and tree from the Wild Woodland Stamp Set  and die cut them with the coordinating Wild Woodland Die-Namics . It was a simple card to create, but I think it turned out so cute and really let the coloring shine! The card was finished with a sentiment from  Bitty Bears that was stamped onto a banner from the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-

Hello everyone! Its Kevin back with another card to share with you featuring the Double the Smiles Dynamics by MFT. Last week I shared a card with a scripty die cut "smile" and this week I chose to use the block "smile" cut. I even used the same Altenew set- Simple Shapes XL . Check it out- I started by doing some super fun ombre stamping using the oval and circle from the Altenew set. 3 shades of yellow and orange Distress Inks were perfect for inking up these "pumpkins". After the stamped images dried, I grabbed the Dynamics and cut out the word "smile" and cut right though my stamped panel. Some fun foam was used to pop up the letters to add dimension. I added it to a kraft card base and that was it! A super simple card but the technique really shines through! Happy fall! Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone, Jenny here, back with another glittery card (I can't help it, I've become a glitter addict).  This time I wanted to show some alternative ways to use more of your glittery supplies, to expand the options available to you.   First off I created my card panel by using a stencil (here I used the Hero Arts Peacock Feather Stencil ) and Distress Clear Rock Candy Stickles to create a subtle shimmer on the background.  After I discovered my love of Nuvo Glimmer Paste (which Butterfly Reflections Ink carries) I wanted to see if I could expand the color selection available to me by trying to use Stickles in the same way as Stickles comes in so many more colors.    A few notes on using Stickles in lieu of embossing paste: 1) It's not as gooey - so you end up using more than you would use with the paste.  Given the containers are small you would go through your stash pretty quickly.  However the effect it gives is very pretty and a great look for smaller

Hi there crafty friends!  Jacquie Dean here with a special project today for the Altenew Crafty Friends Blog Hop !  You should have arrived here from wonderful Tracey McNeely's blog!    I was pretty excited when Vanessa asked me to represent Butterfly Reflections Ink on this fun blog hop celebrating Crafty Friends and the stamping community! Altenew is a personal favorite stamp company of mine and so I'm especially honored to be able to share something with you all.  In fact, I had taken a hiatus from stamping a number of years ago, and it was Altenew that lured me back with all their fabulous designs!  I am so lucky to have a number of long time friends in the stamping and crafting community including my Mom and sister!  My card today features a beautiful and elegant new stamp set from Altenew's latest release.  It's called Peace on Earth, and it's centerpiece is a gorgeous holiday ornament with the entire world on it.

Hey there everyone!  It's  Jacquie , back today to share a really colorful, fun card I made for my sister.  I absolutely adore these sweet images from Honey Bee stamps.  The set is called Acorn Sisters, and for some reason that makes me laugh. I started by stamping the 3 Acorn sisters (lol), the pumpkin and the bird images using Altenew Crisp black permanent ink.  I colored them with Copics and cut them out. For the background, I used Distress Inks (Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Seedless Preserves) on Watercolor Paper.  I let the ink dry, and then placed my cut out images on the paper.  I felt like the whole thing needed something more, so I stamped a bed of leaves for them to stand on, and added a few falling leaves.  I stamped those using Versafine Black Onyx ink , and I colored these using my Zig Kuretake Clean Color markers .   Then I mounted the images using Scotch foam tape to make them stand out a bit.   Last, I added the greetin
