Christmas Snowman

Morning crafty friends, it's Julianne here back with a snow globe inspired Christmas card just in time for Christmas. This is my first shaped card and I just love how it turned out. I have had the Honey Bee Snow Buddies stamp set for awhile now and really wanted to make a card with those cute snowmen. I started off by using some nested circle dies to cut my card base as well as the shaker element. To make a border around the snow globe I used two of the nested dies together on both white and silver glitter cardstock and adhered them together to get some dimension. Next I started working on the design of the card, I knew I wanted all 3 snowmen in the card as well as one of the bunnies and birds. With a lot of masking I was able to fit each image in along with all the cute accessories that are also included in the set. I have mentioned before how much I love HoneyBee Stamp products, the amount of images and sentiments you get in their sets is amazing. Once I had all my masking...

Out Of This World Christmas

Happy Monday everyone! For today's blog post, I'm sharing an Outer Space themed Christmas card. Recently I was looking through my stamp sets, and I came across Lawn Fawn's Beam Me Up. I couldn't help but notice how much the UFOs reminded me of snowglobes. It didn't end up turning out the way I expected, but it was a fun challenge for myself to create a Christmas card with non-Christmas stamps! To start, I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink . Then I cut out my images and colored them with alcohol markers. The stamps I used were from Lawn Fawn sets Frosty Fairy Friends , Booyah , Beam Me Up, Out of this World , Oh Gnome , and Christmas Dreams . I also customized the flower stamped from Booyah by adding sepals around the petals. Next, I created the background on white cardstock. I blended Distress Ink Abandoned Coral , Mustard Seed , Mermaid Lagoon , and Cracked Pistachio randomly on the page to start creating a galaxy. Using my blending tools...

Wrapped Up In A Good Book

Happy Monday everyone! It's Amanda here, and I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your week! Today I wanted to share something slightly different from my usual cardmaking. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE making cards, but it's so easy to forget that there are other things you can make with paper crafting. As Halloween and Fall scenes swirled through my head, I found myself reminiscing on the simple bookmarks I used to create. Since those bookmark making days, I've collected many stamps and supplies my past self never dreamed of having. It was time to take another crack at it! Wrapped Up In A Good Book  This first bookmark was so much fun to make. Not only was it fun, but it was very stress relieving. Most of the time when I'm paper crafting the goal is to have a neat and tidy end product. For this I wanted it to have an old, rustic feel to it. To start out, I took a long strip of paper and crumbled it up like it was a piece of trash. The goal was to mak...

Thank You

Hi crafty friends, Julianne here sharing a HUGE thank you card that I made for Vanessa. I have had so much fun designing for Butterfly Reflections, Ink these passed couple months and I am truly blessed to have had this opportunity. I hope that you found inspiration in my posts over the past couple months from not only me but the other amazing design team members. For my card today I used Altenew Hope Stamp Set and the Altenew Build-a-Flower: Chrysanthemum Stamp , I have never used a layering stamp set before but I loved the results.  If you haven't tried these stamps before from any company, I would definitely say try. The results are just beautiful and not having to color was AMAZING! I used a bunch of different Catherine Pooler Inks for my card, a list is below: Limoncello , Tiara , Tiki Torch , Orange Twist , Sweet Sixteen , Pixie Dust , Flirty Fuchsia , Grape Crush ,  It's a Girl , Be Mine , Party Dress , Samba , It's a Boy , Something Borrowed , All That Jazz ...
