Hello everyone, it's Peter here again and I'm back with some more crafty inspiration. Friends of mine recently became mom and dad again, so of course I had to make them a card! Since I made a cloud plushie as a gift, I wanted to include a lot of clouds on the card as well. Well, All The Clouds from Lawn Fawn is perfect for that!  I always like to include the name of the baby on the card, one of my favorite die sets to do that is the Oliver Stitched ABCs from Lawn Fawn. I die cut it out of yellow cardstock and made a little color gradient by blending some Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade with a blending brush . I wanted the background to be cloudy as well, so I used one of my favorite stencils to achieve that; the Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn. My favorite ink to combine that with is Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass . I blended the edges with some Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and that's also what I used to splatter the background. The card is slimline sized and I used the ...

Welcome, Little One!

Happy Saturday, Friends! It's my turn today to share a card with you, and I'm really excited about this one! My Favorite Things came out with this super cute Bundle of Baby Clothes die set a few months ago, and I immediately fell in love with it. It was one of the first die sets I ordered from Butterfly Reflections, Ink, and I've honestly been debating how to use it since April! I started by creating my fence background. I took the Lawn Fawn Stripey Backdrop die and cut two different panels. I flipped one of the panels over to make a criss-cross pattern on top of the first panel. I adhered my fence background on to my card base and then moved on to the clouds! I used a stitched cloud die  and white cardstock to make the clouds, and I treated the edges with some Broken China distress ink to give the hint of a blue sky. I glued the clouds on top of my background and then went on to the cutest part--the baby clothes! I took some various plaid papers from My F...

What's cuter than a baby elephant?

...A baby elephant holding a bunch of balloons, of course!!! Hi! Emily Midgett here for my first official blog post for the Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team. I am so overjoyed to be here with such wonderful company!! I have long loved  this darling little elephant stamp  from Wild Rose Studio, so I was delighted that Vanessa had it in her shop! I'd not been able to find it anywhere, and lo and behold it was in the BRI shop just waiting for me. And, if you've ever been to my blog, you know that I have had a love affair with my Zig Clean Color markers for the last several months. I almost feel like I'm cheating on my markers if I don't use them on a project, but that's a different blog post. The Zig markers and this sweet little ellie were a great combo. Some friends of ours are having a gender reveal party for their little baby this weekend, and my hubby and I can't make it, so my plan was to send them a card to congratulate them. I obviously needed ...

And Baby Makes 3

Hi there, Joann here today sharing a baby card with you today! I started out by stamping my image from the  Avery Elle-Ellie  stamp set on some watercolor paper. I took my watercolors and painted a blue sky, my little elephant and the grass.  I created my own sentiment by using  Lawn Fawn- Milo's ABCs  stamp set for the outside and inside of my card. Avery Elle-Number Balloons Die  was used to cut the 3 out and I stamped it using the coordinating  Avery Elle-Number Balloons  stamp set with some  Avery Elle-Magenta Pigment Ink .  I cut some pattern paper from the  Avery Elle-The Everyday Collection Paper Pad  for my background.  Lastly, I finished my card by drawing my balloon string, added some Glossy Accents and Clear Wink of Stella to my balloon, and scattered some TCP Something Shiny Relish Mix ! That's all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a FABULOUS Sunday! ...

Hello again, Sharna here with another new card. This time my very first Create A Smile card! I have loved them a long time and was finally able to grab a few of the sets I wanted now that we are the only US supplier! So of course I had to have the Narwhal stamps cause I mean come on! They are so cute! I am always in need of baby cards, its like as soon as I make one I use it. Ha! The background is some ink smooshing everyone's liking lately. I tend to smoosh mine all together though. I like the control I have. Anyways the colors I used were Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean &  Tumbled Glass. Also added a few old Lawn Fawn sequins to match. Supplies: Underwater Love stamp set - Create a Smile Mermaid Lagoon - Distress Ink Salty Ocean - Distress Ink Tumbled Glass - Distress Ink

Baby Card

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I wanted to share a baby card with you today! I was totally inspired by this card  and I pretty much used the design as a sketch. I used the Lawn Fawn Scripty Joy die and Lawn Fawn Milo's ABC's stamp set to create my sentiment. The hearts were cut using the Lawn Fawn Snow Day dies and the cute bow decorative pin comes from Maggie Holmes Flea Market . Stop by and check out the store, there are tons of awesome goodies and still some Maggie Holmes Flea Market items left (they are fabulous items and on SALE).
