You're Furtastic

Hello, Butterfly Reflections Ink friends! It's Cassie here from Creatively Cass, and I'm so happy to be back on the BRI blog to share a card I made with you. One of my fave things about being back on the blog is getting a chance to use all the goodies I purchased from Vanessa in the shop. There aren't enough hours in the day! Today I made a card using a stamp set that has been calling my name from The Greeting Farm. Isn't this so bright and fun?! I just love those little ladies and their kitten friends. I started the card by stamping the center girl from Hey Pretty Kitty Stamp . I made a mask for her and then stamped her two friends next to her with MFT's Extreme Black ink because it is Copic friendly. Then I colored them in with some really simple Copic combos. I wanted this little trio to really pop so I used the Heffy Doodle Clover Frame Dies to cut them out. I used a couple gray and tan copics to create a ground, but for the sky I ink blended Broken Chi...

Perk Up

Good morning, everyone! It's Cassie here  :) It's time to perk up because we are half way through the week and it's almost the weekend! Today I've got a cutie of a card using some Greeting Farm stamps. I started by stamping the two coffee cups from the Perk Up stamp set on some Neenah Solar White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored them all in and fussy cut them out. I colored the hot cups very similar, but the cold cups I colored to be strawberry, caramel, and chocolate frappes! Yum, am I right?! I ran my black Copic over the edges of each cut out cup and then I took out my Fun Faces 2 stamp set from Your Next Stamp. I love these faces from the set because you can really give anything life when you combine them with other images. I added some white gel pen details to the cups and set them aside to work on the next steps. I die cut the largest rectangle from the Lawn Fawn Large Stiched Rectangle Stackable set. I use this set on nearly every c...

Happy Puuur-Day!

Hi there! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here! I'm finally using the adorable kitties from Greeting Farm!! This set is called Purfect Cats . Vanessa has just restocked these cuties in the shop. They have coordinating dies too. I love that the kitties are big and chubby, totally my cup of tea. If I have cats, they will look exactly like this - big and fat and always want to eat. I made this scene because I think this will be how they celebrate their birthday. Their faces are so close to the cake, looks like they can't wait to dig in :) Here is my step-by-step. Stamp the birthday cake from MFT Birthday Bears set . Mask it, then stamp the kittens and the sentiment. Color the images with Copic markers Blend pink, orange and yellow distress inks for the background and add water droplets Die cut a shaker frame with MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX , blend with the same color Assemble the shaker with acetate, foam tape and Lucy's Cards Iridescent White sequins . Hello and happy Sunday!! I'm so excited to introduce our guest designer for the month of October - Carisa from Inky Fairy Designs !!! She's an absolutely star when it comes to Copic coloring! Her work is just stunning! You can read a little bit about her, and then gaze at her amazing talent with the amazing card she created below! :) _______________________________________________ I am blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart, we'll be celebrating our 15th anniversary this year. We have 4 awesome kiddos ages 10, 8, 5 and 2. I'm really just a simple girl who loves my family and I am grateful to be able to do what I love. I began stamping and crafting in 2009 when a friend of mine introduced me to Copic markers. I absolutely LOVE bringing a black and white stamped image to life with color. I am kind of a medium junkie as I love experimenting with watercolors and have to have them all! I've also started dabbling with mixed media which is a really fun wa...
