Have I told you lately...

Happiest Thursday, crafters!!  Heather here with you today and I'm sharing a card that I recently created for my husband!  March 24th was our 21st (wedding) anniversary and, I thought, that required an extra special card! To create this one-of-a-kind interactive card I used Lawn Fawn's *NEW* Platform Pop-Up Lawn Cuts die set!!  So much fun!!  It seems that this die set would be super complicated to use - BUT IT'S NOT!!  The tutorial over on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel is SO helpful!  I can't wait to also pick up the special Pop-Up Add-On  Lawn Cuts from the Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop.  It's looks like such a fun way to add elements to this fun pop-up card!  Here is a sneak peek of my card: First things first: I have to confess that I've been hoarding the Pink Paislee/America Crafts "Lucky Us" 6x8 paper pad for the LONGEST TIME!!!!  I just love the fun patterns so much and they're really perfect for a lovey-dovey anniver...

You're Out of This World!

Hi crafty friends!! Sophie here sharing this idea for a fun birthday card! This Mama Elephant Little Agenda Spaceship stamp set  and coordinating dies is one of my all time favorite sets! To create this card I used the Mama Elephant Slim Film City Creative Cuts as well as the Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts . I inked up my galaxy sky with Peacock Feathers , Tumbled Glass , and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks and splattered on some white acrylic paint for stars. I colored these adorable little images with Copic markers and adhered everything down with some foam tape !  To finish the card off I added some finishing touches with a white gel pen and some glossy accents over the helmets of those adorable little critter astronauts!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have an out of this world day!! I'll be back soon sharing a fun fall project! 🍁
Good morning crafters and card makers! Heather here today to share a slimline card that I created using some goodies from the shop! I don’t know about you, but just love ALL of the Avery Elle Peek-a-Boo critters!!  They’ve got all of these super fun accessories and I love that Vanessa stocks all of these great items in the shop!  For my card I started out by stamping a few Avery Elle images onto Strathmore Watercolor Paper .  The images I chose today are from the Polar Bear Peek-a-Boo Pals   Stamp Set (Walrus, Fox, & scarves), the Peek-a-Boo Coaster Stamp Set (the cute Owl), as well as a few bumper cars from the Peek-a-Boo Fair Stamp Set .  I stamped all of these images using Ink on 3's super cool Fade out Ink so that I could create a “no-line” coloring look. Next I went to work coloring all of the images using water color pencils and a paint brush with clean water on it. Nuvo has a variety of fun sets of Watercolor Pencils and you can find them in t...

Fox with Flowers Friendship Card with Christy Gets Crafty

Hello friends, it's Christy here with a card using the adorable  MFT Hooray Kind of Day  stamp set designed by Stacey Yacula. All of the images in this set are just so cute, but the fox is my favorite, and I just had to use her on today's card. I colored her and her little snail friend in with Copic Markers and trimmed them out with the  matching dies . For the focal panel, I cut a MFT Wonky Stitched Circle out of Bristol Smooth Surface and watercolored a background using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens . I stamped a sentiment at the top using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink , and stamped a few more images and another sentiment on the inside of my Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers card base with Peachy Keen Ink . I selected some patterned paper from the  MFT Fun in the Sun  and  Positively Peppy  6x6 pads and trimmed down the largest floral print with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I layered them on my card front with Tombow Mo...

Wishing you a yummy day

Hello and welcome back to the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. It's Silvia here today with an absolutely yummy card. I started by stamping images from the Mama Elephant  "Baked with love" stamp set with  Memento black ink , I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them (if you prefer, you can use the  coordinating dies ). I die cut a4 1/4x5 1/2 white rectangles and I ink blended it with salty ocean and faded jeans Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water, inks and some liquid stardust drops. I then die cut two panel (one from white cardstock and one from Lawn Fawn  kraft cardstock ) using the  "Peekaboo Backdrop" die. I used the white inside panels to create the grass, using Hello Bluebird  "Grassy knoll" dies and  shubby shutters and  evergreen bough Distress Oxide inks. I then assembled all my elements with liquid glue and I added some Trinity Stamps  "Boiled Sugar-Jelly drop hearts" embell...

Hello to all you fabulous crafters, it's Candice  here with you this Friday and I hope you are having a great day!  Excited to be sharing with you on Friday's with Butterfly Reflections, Ink ! Okay, I don't know about your home, but our home is a superhero home!  So of course I had to use the adorable new Sunny Studio Super Duper stamps .  I have been loving Davina's, on IG she's popsiclesticks , designs with movies and shows and decided to take my try at it! For my underwater superhero scene I used Sunny Studio products : Super Duper stamp set Super Duper coordinating dies Best Fishes stamp set Best Fishes coordinating dies Cityscape border die Woodland borders die  (sand) To start my slimline card, I create an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base and with the left over piece I trimmed to use on the front.  You can use size 9A envelopes to fit this card perfectly in....

Cherish Friendship

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Julianne here bringing you some friendship cards featuring some Honey Bee Stamps products. When these flowers first came out I fell in love with them, they came out for Mother's Day but wanted to show how to combine them to make something else. I started out by stamping the Honey Bee Mother's Day Stamp Set  using my MISTI . I absolutely love this floral stamp set, I really think you could end up using it to make a variety of different cards. I ended up stamping the image a total of 8 times because I knew I wanted the image on my cards twice. I've listed the copic colors I used in order to color in the flowers: RV66, RV19, R89, YR23, YR24, YR27, YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97 I used the Honey Bee Mother's Day Coordinating Dies to cut all my floral images out. Since I ended up putting them on a white background I could have just stamped onto my cardbase because you can't really tell, but maybe next time 😊 Using cardstock from Gina K ...
