Koala Bear Hugs

Hey friends, Christy  here. Today I'm hear to share a super sweet card with you all featuring  Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs . I wanted to do some soft Copic coloring to match the look of my patterned papers, the gorgeous Wildflower by Kaisercraft . This one print stood out to me, because it reminded me of eucalyptus, so I knew it would work beautifully with my sweet koalas. Once my images were colored, I die-cut them with the matching dies , then layered them on top of a focal panel of patterned papers cut with the  Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Circle Stackables  and Scalloped Circle Stackables . I also threw in two clouds from the MFT Cloud 9 dies , using the larger one to stamp my sentiment. I added the leaf print to cover my card base with just a thin strip of a white on white stripe down the side as an accent. Then I popped my image up with foam tape. As a finishing touch a added a few Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear and 6mm Marshmallow sequins ....

Concord and 9th..Merry Christmas

Hello everyone and welcome back!!  Today I'm sharing my last Christmas card of 2016.  Today's project uses stamps from Concord and 9th. I used the  Sophisticated Script  stamp set to create a custom greeting.  I wish I could write this pretty in real life!!  I decided to use the large 5 petal flower, the tiny sprig and the berries stamp from the Wildflower  stamp set.  I did all my stamping in  Versamark Ink  and used  Gold Embossing Powder . To color the images I used alcohol marker (I have ProMarkers).  I don't think there is such a thing as blue berries during the holiday season but I really love the way they look with the red flowers.  I added a load of sparkle with my  Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen .  I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the berries. I thought the sentiment needed to "pop" out a bit more so I simply added some light shadows using a light grey marker. Thank you so much ...
