Many Mandalas!

Hello, everyone! It's Lynnea and I'm so thrilled to be back on the blog with another card for you! Today I am using the  Many Mandalas  stamp set from Concord & 9th. This is one of the sets from their new release...and I am in love! I adore mandalas and this set gives me the freedom to create big and little mandalas with everything in between! And the sentiments are just amazing! Let's see what I've done! I wanted to take advantage of how large the biggest mandala is, so I decided to build up the whole thing! Since I'm only stamping one mandala, I decided to dress it up a bit! I started by taking a piece of vellum and scoring it twice to create a gatefold overlay. This stamp set is designed to be used with the  MISTI , which is such an amazing tool! And it made this stamp set a breeze to line up! I started with the largest mandala and centered it on the vellum overlay and I used  Versamark  ink and  Hero Arts White Embossing Powder . I added the second

Meow You Doing?

Happy Cat-urday! Meow you doing?  Today I'm sharing the Meow You Doin'  stamp set from Lawn Fawn. This sweet stamp set is super pawsome and has some of the best puns I've ever seen.  To create my card, I started by stamping and fussy cutting the cat and bed. The heart is from another great set stamp set,  Elphie Selfie  (check out THIS card). I die cute a little rug for the scene using Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables  and Watercolor Wishes . Next, I water colored the yellow circle with Gansia Tambi watercolors  and finished the card with plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  Thanks you for stopping by today! Enjoy creating!

Toucan of Friendship

Hey friends, it's Christy with my last Friday Feature as part of the BRI design team. On Monday Vanessa will introduce a whole new team, and you guys are going to love them! So many talented ladies. My card today features the beautiful Reverse Confetti Toucan of Friendship . I colored my images with Copic markers to match my Simple Stories Faith patterned papers , then die cut them with the matching dies. I made a card base from Lawn Fawn's guava cardstock , then die cut my patterned papers with Lawn Fawn's Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables , Neat & Tangled's Scalloped Dies , and Lawn Fawn's Stitched Journaling Card . I layered them together and then added my images to the focal panel. My sentiment was stamped in Deep Sea ink . For embellishments I added a few Pretty Pink Posh 4mm  and  6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins  then dabbed a little Crystal Stickles  in the centers of my flowers to give them a little sparkle. I also did some fun stamping on the ins

Concord & 9th Happy Birthday ...

Happy Thursday everyone ! It is Mayra from Mayras Designs with today's post . It is my last post for this design team term . It has been a wonderful time being part of this design team ! I am super grateful to Vanessa for giving me the wonderful opportunity of being part of a super talented group !  For today's card I created another water colored piece . I used the beautiful cake image from the   Concord & 9th Happy Day stamp set . The coordinating dies can be found here .   I began by lightly stamping the image onto my die cut card base from the My Favorite Things  Stitched Rectangle Stax  .  I then colored in the image using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers    . I wanted a soft color palette ...lol, but then I added the strawberry filling (my favorite ) . Some of the colors I used to color the image in were Pale Pink, Mustard, Lilac , Olive Green . For the sentiment I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink  .  Thank you so much for stopping by !!

Ewe Make Me Smile

So spring is flying by so fast! Much faster then I can create projects from all the adorable stamps I have been collecting! One set in an early spring release I  fell in love with but didn't get the chance to use until now is the  Reverse Confetti All About Ewe Stamp set.  Thank goodness it has a lot of sweet sentiments which can be used year round. For this card I first colored and cut out my images. Dies are available for this set and they can be found by clicking  HERE . I created a card panel using the  MFT Stitched Arch dies  and  Blueprints 25 . And created a scene from the images in the set and the  In The Clouds Dies  and  Grassy Hills Dies . I love all the fun play on the words 'you/ewe' in this set! Hugs, Rebekah ❤

Popping In - Waffle Flower Crafts

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you one last time in my 4 month design team role for Butterfly Reflections Ink, it has been such a pleasure and privilege to share my creations with you.  My card today features the adorable Popping In by Waffle Flower Crafts . A panel was die cut and then delicately ink blended using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink  together with my Clarity Stencil Brushes .  I then stamped all the images from Popping In using Ranger Archival Ink .  I then watercolour painted everything using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut and adhered them into position on the ink blended panel using dimensional foam tape in various depths.   The colour scheme of the card is quite clearly to welcome a baby boy, so I just used the Congratulations stamp twice in the corner of the base layer of the card.  I then adhered the panel into position with craft foam sandwiched behind it.  Your cards will survive being mailed so much better for having craft foam inco

Awesome Rainbow!

Happy Monday crafty friends! Kim with you this morning and I am sharing another rainbow inspired project! Weather is so beautiful and that is inspiring me with color! Lots of color! All of the products used are available on the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop ! I started by die-cutting the Concord and 9th Floral and Flutter flower die with several colors of card stock. I added shading with Distress Inks to the edges of the petals. I then cut my Neena 80lbs card front to a little narrower than the 4.25 width and die cut the edges with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Border Dies . I then felt the card needed a black sentiment for it to really pop so I chose the Neat & Tangled Awesome die  and I accompanied that with an Avery Elle "You Are" sentiment from the Simply Said Hugs set  (with some craft surgery to mix and match the words). I put the card together and had to add my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Clear sequins  and a mix of Nuvo Crystal and Jewel

Altenew ..Thank You

Hello and happy Sunday !!  Mayra here from Mayras Designs with today's post !  For my card today I used the beautiful  Magnolias For Her stamp set by Altenew .   I began by heat embossing the magnolia onto the card base which was die cut using  My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Stax .  For the heat embossing I used Ranger White Embossing Powder and  VersaMark Ink .  I then did ink blending for the background using the Mini Ink Blending Tool and  Distress Inks in the colors  Seedless Preserves  , Wilted Violet   and Aged Mahogany . For the Magnolias I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers (can you tell I am LOVING these ) in the colors Lilac (083) , Pink(25) and Natural Gray (902) .  To finish the card I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink .      I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create !  Thank you very much for stopping by !  Wishing you a wonderful and Blessed day !

Big Fox Hugs

Happy Saturday! Happy Earth Day!  Today I'm sharing the adorable and SUPER popular stamp set Hug Me by Altenew.  To create my card I stamped and colored the sweet balloon fox image. Next, I fussy cut the image (there are die cuts too!). To create the background I blended Distress Inks  and stamped a few clouds. The frame was created with Scalloped Pierced Dies . It's fun to get creative and use the negative space on dies. It's a trick I use a lot. ;) The card was finished with a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh . Thanks for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you create!

Hoppy Birthday, Ribbit!

Hey friends, happy Friday! It's Christy here with a fun pond scene featuring  Memory Box Hoppy Holidays . This set is super versatile because it does double duty as both a Christmas set, and everyday. Today I paired it with the bright and cheery  Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6  papers to create a birthday card. I colored my images with Copic markers then die cut them with the  matching dies . Then I layered a strip of grass cut with Lawn Fawn's Meadow Borders  and  Stitched Hillside Borders . I added it with foam tape over a panel cut with the  Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables  to create the sky at the top and the pond at the bottom.  For my card base, I trimmed my patterned paper down to 4'' x 5 1/2'' to leave a blue border all the way around, then added a banner down the center with the end trimmed down using the  Stitched Party Banners . Then I popped my focal panel over top with some more foam tape and finished things off with a few

Happy Happy Birthday with Neat & Tangled

Hello everyone !! Mayra here with today's fun  post . For today I created a set of birthday cards  using the super fun Big Top Birthday stamp set  from Neat & Tangled . The coordinating dies can be  found here .  For this set of cards I used a different coloring tool besides my Copic markers (which I LOVE ) .  I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers . I am brand new to coloring with these ...and I am hooked !! Wow , these images were super fun to color !!  I stamped my images using Ranger Archival  Ink in Jet Black  . I used Light Carmine as the main color , with a bit of Flesh color for the skin of  the cutest little clown . For the backgrounds of each one I used Distress Inks, for the clown I used   Worn Lipstick . Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool from Ranger. The letters are from the Journaling Alphas Dies from Neat & Tangled . I hope you enjoy these cards I created for you today !  Thank you so much for stopping by !  Wishi

Ninjas Two Ways!

I have a two for one today! Two cards, totally different in style, both made using the same stamp set,  Ninja-mazing Stamp Set  from My Favorite Things. The first card is a one layer card. I stamped my images with  Momento Tuxedo Black Ink  and created a scene by masking the images with  Inkadinkado Masking Paper . To make the poor little ninja who is flying threw the air look surprised, I circled his eye with a  Uni-Ball White Gel Pen  and drew slight lines with a black pen to indicate movement. The second card is a little more involved. This one had a pull tap which moves one of these little ninja images across the card. I created the background using the  MFT Radiating Sunray Stencil  and the  MFT Hit The Slopes Die set . I also used the MFT   Blueprints 25  and  Blueprints 27 . I used  Distress Ink in Fossilized Amber  over the stenciled and applied using the  Clarity Stencil Brushes . Be sure to check out  my Blog  and  Instgram  for more projects us

Dogs Stamp Set by Jane's Doodles

Hello this is Nicky back with you today with this simple but slightly time consuming card.  I'll call this my 'virtually' no line watercolour card since I wanted a little definition.  The card uses Dogs Stamp Set by Jane's Doodles . I created a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock and die cut it using the largest frame die from Die-Namics Blueprint #25 by My Favorite Things .  I stamped my images using Distress Ink in Antique Linen.  I called this my 'virtual' no line watercolour card because I chose to use the 1st generation stamp rather than the 2nd generation stamp that is preferred for true, no line watercolour painting. I wanted to create a casual wallpaper affect (without the repeat) and starting from the top of the card and working my way down I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to watercolour each image.  Sometimes I used the brush directly to make the outline and other defined areas bolder. The card was finished out wit

Rainbows and Distress Inks

Happy Easter Monday crafty friends! I was lucky enough to have a four day weekend break to spend with family and friends. Very relaxing with lots of love, laughs and yes some craft time :) I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. I felt like playing with Distress Inks for this project ! All of the products can be found in the Butterfly Reflections Ink. Shop I started with a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper  and loosely painted on a rainbow of Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet) once the panel dried I went back in with some (Blueprint Sketch, Mowed Lawn, Fossilized Amber, and Seedless Preserves) to add depth. I then decided to use the Wplus9 Color my World paint tubes  and colored them and the paint brush with my Copic Sketch markers  and fussy cut all of my images.  I have always loved the Lawn Fawn You Color my World sentiment so I white embossed it on Lawn Faw

You'll Always Be My Favorite

Hi, everyone!! It's Cassie from Creatively Cass , and I'm so excited to be back as a guest for Butterfly Reflections Ink! Today I'm sharing a card I made using some adorable products. This really all came together so well because I was able to mix and match with some great companies! Let's get to the details :) I started by die cutting a stitched square for my card base. I love using the stitched dies for card bases because it adds that little bit extra detail to the finished card. I've been loving my Distress Oxide Inks lately, and I used the Fossilized Amber  color to give some color to the square panel. I spritzed it with water to add some texture to it as well. Next I die cut the largest circle from the Die-Namics Stitched Circle Scallop Frames dies from MFt. I die cut it once from my Kraft card stock and once from Neenah Solar White. For the inside of the circle I did some more ink blending and added the Faded Jeans color ink to it, spritzing it with water

Birthday Smash

Hi Everyone! It's no secret, I LOVE mini stamp sets. Today I'm featuring Lawn Fawn's Year Seven  mini set. This set is so fun! To create my card I started by stamping and die cutting the pinata . I wanted it to be super colorful and the center piece of my card so I picked my favorite Copic colors and colored each section a different color.   Next, I picked a bright shade of patterned paper from Watercolor Wishes . To tone down all of the colors I die cut a white frame using Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables . The sentiment that is included in mni set was then embossed and I added enamel triangles  from the American Crafts Hazelwood collection. I finished the card with Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets  and Mini Star Confetti . Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Koala Bear Hugs

Hey friends, Christy  here. Today I'm hear to share a super sweet card with you all featuring  Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs . I wanted to do some soft Copic coloring to match the look of my patterned papers, the gorgeous Wildflower by Kaisercraft . This one print stood out to me, because it reminded me of eucalyptus, so I knew it would work beautifully with my sweet koalas. Once my images were colored, I die-cut them with the matching dies , then layered them on top of a focal panel of patterned papers cut with the  Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Circle Stackables  and Scalloped Circle Stackables . I also threw in two clouds from the MFT Cloud 9 dies , using the larger one to stamp my sentiment. I added the leaf print to cover my card base with just a thin strip of a white on white stripe down the side as an accent. Then I popped my image up with foam tape. As a finishing touch a added a few Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear and 6mm Marshmallow sequins . I also did a b

Altenew 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Good morning! Emily Midgett from Sixth Street Sundries and former Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team member here with you today to celebrate a special event happening all over the crafty world...  I was so honored and excited when Vanessa asked me to represent Butterfly Reflections Ink for the Altenew 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop ! You should have arrived here from Tracey McNeeley's blog , and your next stop is Eunyoung Lee . There are some absolutely amazing prizes along the way, including Butterfly Reflections Ink, and some wonderfully talented artists sharing their work with you!  For my first project, I chose to work with Altenew's Smile More and the coordinating dies . I started by die cutting and stamping several of the blooms and foliage using Versafine ink and heat embossing it with some Silver Pearl embossing powder. This combination creates a lovely pearlescent charcoal finish. I colored all of the blooms with my Pale Rose Zig marker , using a damp pa
